Kotchman, Green and Agon will allow Halladay to cruise through 3 of the 9 innings which he should complete with less than 105 pitches for the win. Buchholz should give up 10 hits including 3 HRs in 4 1/3 innings. -

Family leave mandated under the Law doesn't require an Employer to pay the employee while on leave. As a benefits attorney for a Fortune 100 Company, I can tell you that he would have to take his accrued vacation time if he wanted to get paid. As far as I know baseball players don't get vacation during the season. I wonder how many days he would spend reveling in the wonder of life that he has created if he had to take the time without pay. He probably makes about $30,000 to $50,000 a game. If it cost him $90- 150 k, his family values would go right out the window.

The only game they won in that WS was the one in which Todd Jones made his error. Their young pitchers Verlander (2), Rodney and Zumaya made errors in the other games each leading to unearned runs.
