    None of those Yankee prospects will amount to anything. I knew from spring training that the Yankee hype machine was in full gear. They had every one of their announcers heaping praise on these guys even when they weren't playing. I predicted then that they would package a few of those media hype creations for a top starter at the deadline. The Rockies were too stupid to catch onto the scam.

    I'd prefer a SS, but we are not going to get Hanley, and Reyes is a big long shot. Beltran is available.

    I think we have enough starting pitching to make the playoffs and win the division. If Buchholz comes back in September, the pitching should be good enough for the playoffs too. We need another bat for the WS. Spillbourgs is not going to cut it, nor is Frenchy. Get Beltran!
