i think he's the best bet to start against the Yankees to fill in again for Wells. He's probably the best option seeing as the yankees kill lefties (Lester/Alvarez).

Van Burens stats from AAA last year 2-3, 1.98 era, 52 G, 25 SV, 54.2 IP ya he was pretty dominant last year in AAA currently has an era of 1.69

His fastball was about 90-91 all night and it did have great movement. His changeup was good at times, but he needs to have a little bit more control of it. His curveball had real nice break to it, but he couldn't locate it to save his life. I was more impressed with him than i though i would have been. Great stuff, great attitude, just needs to locate better. I have a feeling this wasn't his last game in a sox uniform.

Id like to see Pauley get a start against another team, preferably at home.
