    Some Pittsburg paper says this is the deal as of right now To BOS: Bay, J Wilson To FLA: Manny, Grabow To PIT: Hermida, Lowrie, Hunter Jones, Ryan Tucker the Bucs and marlins win that trade and the Sox get s*** on, im all for dealing Manny, but dont include Lowrie in the deal

    Cashman found someone to take Latroy Hawkins in a trade, thats even more of a conspiracy, why Houston, or anyone would make a deal for him and give up anything in return.

    I kinda agree with "blowing" the team up, not everyone, but id make a few people available, especially if Manny is dealt. Id put Youk and Lowell on the market, just to see what type of return they could get. Obviously Hansen is on the market, as well as the rest of the bullpen except Paps and Okajima. Id even listen to offers for Bucholz.

    This team just looks like dog s*** right now, there really hasnt been anything good to say in the last week or so, other than Lester is still pitching well.

    Take out Wilson and Lowrie in that deal, and then maybe its not so bad. Im not a big Jason Bay fan. Im still worried about his horrendus numbers that he put up last year. Im pretty sure Bay is above average in the field, but not positive. He has better range than Manny

    Stanton to me looks like a better version of Willy Mo Willy Mo's A stats=.264, .327, .485, .812 with 26 HR and a 5.36 K/BB ratio in 510 AB's Stantons A stats=.275, .351, .569, .920 with 26 HR and a 3.64 K/BB ratio in 360 AB's both at the same age

    Ok, since it now seems like Manny is either going to the Marlins or staying here, i think we should be looking at Hermida and another top prospect (Ryan Tucker or Matt Dominguez?) and Jeff Allison. I dont see anything happening here though.

Tejada: .284, .322, .422, .743 in 405 AB's Lowrie: .284, .345, .386, .733 in 85 AB's Tejada is owed about $4.6MM more this year, plus $13MM in '09 id try to center a deal around Hansen and Cora, then add a prospect or 2 thats about the most id give up, and Houston might have to eat a little contract. Lugo would have to be dealt elsewhere and Im pretty sure Houston doesnt want him back. some tejada quotes from tonight

    Back to Manny, everywhere i look it seems like no one is interested in Manny. Untill I read this http://www.nj.com/mets/index.ssf/2008/07/manny_ramirez_has_ny_mets_atte.html The Mets are done trying to make a deal for Ibanez because they dont want to give up Fernando Martinez for him.
