We have the best Irish pubs (along with Boston). You have strip club chains.
We have the Sears Tower.
We have Chicago Style Hot Dogs.
We have Michael Jordan and 6 titles.
We have the best St. Patrick's Day Parade (with Boston)... The South Side Irish Parade.
We have Mayor Daley.
We have two teams WITHIN THE SAME CITY, not boroughs.
We have Sox-Cubs. You have the media-hyped Mets-Skankees (no one cares).
We have Hemingway.
We have Brando. You have DeNiro. Ok, so that's a wash.
We have The Blues Brothers, Buddy Guy, The Smashing Pumpkins, Eddie Vedder, and Da Coach.
Boston has JFK.
Boston has the Tea Party and the American Revolution.
Paul Revere. Sam Adams. Good Will Hunting.
Boston has the Bruins and Bobby Orr and Ray Bourque.
Boston has class.
Boston has Carlton Fisk (with us), Ted Williams, Carl Yazstremski, Jim Rice, Cy Young, and No-Mah.

In summary, Boston and Chicago are working-man's cities who don't get too high off themselves. We're hardworking people of Italian, Irish, Polish, Mexican, African, German, Russian, Chinese, Czech, and Indian heritage.
Chicago and Boston are New York without the smell.

New York's sports scene is only big because New Yorkers tell everyone it's big.
