  1. AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I can feel it in my blood!!!
  2. Ehhh, they probably put the wrong predictions with the wrong names.
  3. Good to hear ASU got a good coach finally, btw, MGB, is Krueger a senior?
  4. Yea, I'm goin for Mason, them n LSU.
  5. Wow, seems like nothing can go wright for him
  6. None of the three teams have any cant-misses besides the Yanks offense. However, offense, as we've seen lately is no were nea as important as pitching n defense. All in all, after this off-season, the Sox have built themselevs quite a team. Stacked defensively, depending on health great pitching, and depending on career trends, a great offense yet again. The Jays could be killer if Halladay, and Burnett are healthy, but other than that they aren't as scary as the media makes em out to be. I mean Glaus is a HR hitter but can be struck out, Overbay is a loud-mouth who aint no Konerko, and Wells has yet to come into his own. Yanks (100+)= offense will get them through the regualr season, but in the playoffs, the pitching depth could cost them, Mo is the only sure thing on this team. Th offense will score 900 run at elast, but I wouldn't count on this offense being togetehr talent-wsie as good as it could be this year. Sox (90+)= team that could be anywhere from average to great and border unstoppable if everything goes right, which is highly unlikely. If the pitching is healthy and everyone does what they've done through their careers, you could see 5 high double-digit winners, and maybe two 20+. The offense has potentially 9 15+ Hr hitters and already 2 all-star sure-bet 30/100 guys in Papi n Manny.
  7. Sure, he can stick around
  8. Welocme, hope you can be a big contributer to our boards
  9. Yeah, I agree, I'd take this tarde over a low level spect (likely not one with high ceiling) to get his lefty insurance, I mean if he has a sub 2.00 ERA again that'd be killer.
  10. I don't know our pitching is very clogged, and reports are that we might get Cormier, a lefty reliever from Philly for Mohr, which doesn't help.
  11. Nothin humungous, just wanted to post that the Phillies might trade us Rheal Cormier (would be his 3rd time back) in order to get Dustan Mohr. Last season he wasn't so good, but the season before he had a sub 2.00 ERA. Also he brings with him the fact that he's a lefty.
  12. Yeah, that sounds about right. As for prediitons, Boston. com has some up right now.
  13. I agree, even going though much scrutiny, the Sox have quietly built what could be an october-wrecking machine. i eman who would you rather have going into the playoffs (esp. a 3 game series) but Schilling, Beckett, and Wells(if he pitches like old times, clutch n all)/Wake? I mean, find me a better built rotation that gives out big-game presence, experience, and hunger for the W? The defense is a humungous factor, vastly improved INF and also playoff experience at 3b, 2b, and SS. Also, if all goes well in the bullpen we could have a ChiSox run with a complete team all around. Last but not least we have the killer line-up that could potentially hit more Hrs then the 3 previous AL leading lineups. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, many of these key parts will stay for years to come
  14. He deserves a new deal, he was the bigegst bargain in baseball the past 3 years.
  15. I finish out with 64, cuz my four r all out
  16. I'd most definately give a 4th for Moulds.
  17. There's anotehr pic on Bostn.com where there's like 3 Rays like tackling Tavarez.
  18. Well, my final is 60, because I'm 0/4 in Indianapolis.
  19. Yep, he had a 1-2-3 against the jays the other day. But beckett has been solid in his past 3 starts, and hopefully he'll carry it over into the season, along with Foulke and Schilling, you could say we acquired 3 all-stars this off-season to add to our staff.
  20. I really like the direction this tea is going in, young but still competitive, with great veterans to mentor young studs. I eman, we'll oon have a nucleus of Lester, Papy, Beckett, and Hansen pitchin-wise, with Ellsbury, Pedroia, and Pena/Crisp offensively. Only thing we need in the future is power and we may ahve found one piece that in Pena.
  21. Oh gods, 5 bucks says GIARSF will rant about UConn losing. That was my final final 4 team, so NOW im 0/4
  22. This has been a helluva tourney this year, I mean the OTs, double OTs, upsets, it has it all.
