    I believe they faced Contreas this year and won but the Contreas I saw the other night is a WAY different pitcher then the one pre-allstar break. EDIT: Contreas actually beat them July 24th.

    I think it depends on the situation. I think if its a close game they will play the whole game. The only player that I can see being pulled during the game might be Sheffield. The rest unless there is a blowout will most likey play the whole game. Can someone explain to me why Ruben Sierra is in the lineup again?

    If the Yankees win today and the Guardians lose the Yankees would have a 2 game lead. So lets say the Yankees lose tomorrow. The Red Sox (no matter what the Guardians) do would finish 1 game ahead of the Guardians thus knocking CLE out of the playoffs. Then we would be tied but they would break the tie on record against and the Yankees would have won the season series. Its hard to understand.
