  1. Kinda like me with the Titans. I was a big Eddie George fan and when he went to the Titans I followed.
  2. Usually when someone says: I would think he was asking for your opinion. But thats just me. and you clearly dont know much on it ESP since you didnt relize Giambi admitted using roids prior to the Yankees (oh I'm sorry there was no credible proof he only admitted it before the grand jury) so why are you talking about it? I dont really care if you hate the Yankees or not but how can you say that with a stright face when you refer to Yankees as "Yankers"? and where did I say that everyone hates me because I'm a Yankee fan? I've been posting on this board for awhile. I get along with pretty much everyone your small potatoes. I'm not defending anyone. What I'm fighing against is lack of knowledge on the subject. If anything I'm trying to educate you. Yeah and I just posted the facts. Giambi did use roids prior to joing the Yankees. He admitted them. Whats your point? If you dont care where they used the roids why do you keep bring it up that Giambi used them with the "yankers" and if you think we will get along fine when you refer to the Yankees as Yankers then your your really full of it.
  3. I wanted your personal opinion on weather he did "roids" in Oakland. Stop hiding behind that BS about "hearsay" just so you can say he only did roids as a Yankee. Just so you know Giambi also admitted using "roids" eariler in his baseball career prior to the Yankees in that grand jury testimony. That big flush you hear is your BS theory about theres only proof of him using roids in a Yankees uniform going down the toliet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=1936592 http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2004/12/02/MNG80A523H1.DTL
  4. So you dont think he used "steroids" when he was in Oakland?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? He only started to use them once he got to the "yankees"?!?!?!??!?!?!!!!!!!!!!??????!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Giambi was already doing hardcore steroids when he was in Oakland according to Canseco's book. He got into Balco once he joined the Yankees.
  6. Theres about a 0% chance of trading him. He has a full no trade clause. Even if we could trade him I doubt we get anything for a half year rental. Mussina at this stage in his career is about a 3-4th starter. Thats why the Yankees need RJ to win 18-20+ and one of the others (Wang I think will do it) to step up and win 15 games along with maybe 12-15 wins from Mussina. The wild card is Pavano. They really need to get something and I mean something out of him.
  7. Well unless your Barry Bonds or Roger Clemens when you get older you get more injury prone, less consistant and thats what has happend to Mussina. Hes 37 years old and hes not going to get any better. I dont really know what to expect from him next season.
  8. If hes traded look for him to go to the Mets. They need a 2B badly.
  9. Dont get me wrong here, Soriano is an ass for not moving BUT why did they trade for him in the first place? Soriano didnt want to move to the OF for the Yankees or Rangers. What made them think that he would move for them?
  10. Yeah that was a VERY rough outting. Mussina for the past 2 years has started out of the gate very slow. You get older its harder to get ready.
  11. NBA: Sixers @ Knicks NFL: Ravens @ Giants (pre-season) I've never been to an NHL game but everyone tells me its the best sport to watch at the arena.
  12. and the Yankees turned out to be the hightest bidder. It was a business decision weather you like it or not.
  13. anyone have a closer for trade?
  14. he did a great job taking over for a legend in pete rozelle
  15. Yeah thats a problem. K's dont really concern me. I would just like the player to walk alittle more. Its like Adam Dunn. He k's like 150 per year but he also always has a fine OBP.
  16. Sounds like the OF version of Alfonso Soriano.
  17. Bingo, this is the first post that actually had an revelence to what I was talking about(Looks like Crespo also lacks logic 700?) Your 100% right. Bronson was taken advantage of and that is his fault and his fault only. He thought that if he took the discount they wouldnt dump him and they did anyway. It was a gamble and now hes getting paid that "discount" in Cincy. I dont even blame the sox for doing this. My beef is with those "deluded, biased fans" who only see it one way. It simply doesnt work that way.
  18. He hit a 500FT blast one time into the GAB upper deck. He certainly has plus power.
  19. Well Great American Ball Park is a launching pad also. Moving to Fenway might help but its not like hes moving from a pitcher ball park.
  20. Clearly you lack logic .
  21. I dont get upset about another team getting a backup/platoon OF. Clearly you dont get it(not suprising). I'm not even going to explain it anymore.
  22. No just dont get upset about player leaving your team to go to the highest bidder. Its hypocrital to do that then turn around and cheer a trade after the player that got traded took a discount to stay and ended up getting traded.
  23. Its obviously a good trade. But for noone here to even bring up the fact that the guy took a discount to stay then got traded I think its ridicules. Talk about twisting a knife in someones back. This is why I cant stand when fans complain about loyalty because the second the team gets someone better your ready to kick them out. Then again this is sports today anyway.
