  1. After we clinch, or if for that matter, he'll carry us until the postseason.
  2. If the pick is anything other than 1st round, this is a steal.
  3. I never said he's average, but even the best QB's need good receivers. And without Branch, Brady will suffer. There's a reason why it wasn't always Branch as the top guy every game, he would get double coverage by some teams, so Brady would just look eslewhere, that won't be the case without him.
  4. MLB- Yankees NBA-Heat NFL- Dolphins NHL- don't care College FB- NotreDame? College BB- Duke/Uconn
  5. Yep look at Martin last year, and this year for that matter. Why he's still hanging around is beyond me. I believe this will be Barber's last productive year as well.
  6. Ok, so you're saying Brady with his top receiver being Troy Brown, TROY f***ING BROWN is better than Culpepper with a healthy knee and top WR being Chris Chambers? Remember I was saying only if Branch escapes the pats, Cupepper would be better. Open up your eyes, there's football outside of foxborro.
  7. You're possibly the biggest football homer I've ever seen. Fast Willie is way better than Dillon, who won't do anything this year, and Maroney is also nowhere near as good.
  8. Yanks take final game of the 3 game series 6-4. RJ pitched well for most of the game, and A rod busted out of his slump.
  9. I see you have a lot of respect for the best closer of all time.
  10. What an unsuccessful sox career he had.
  11. Let's see QB's- If Culpepper plays like he can, Dolphins. Receiving Corp- Like I said if Branch leaves, Dolphins by a lot. Running game- While the Pats have a deeper group, the dolphins have the better feature back. Defense- Dolphins D is emerging but probably won't be as good as the Pats.' SI has the dolphins going to the SB, just so you don't think I'm the only one thinking the dolphins will be good.
  12. If somehow branch does escape the pats, the dolphins are a lock for the division.
  13. Sheff wouldn't dive for the ball in the first place, so it would never come to that.
  14. all the way back.
  15. I'm guessing Joe didn't like what he saw on Sunday and figured Proctor was the better choice. Kyle probably would have blown it too though. Not really anyone I trust in the pen other than Mo and somewhat Villone. But who cares, still knocked off two on the magic number countdown and if we win tomorrow, it's forgotten.
  16. If I really needed a hit, yes. If I really needed a strikeout or a GIDP, A rod would be first priority.
  17. yeah, but that error he made against the angels was pathetic. I just don't think he's a good fielder.
  18. Defensively, no. A rod has better range. As far as offensively, a rod might have better stats for his career, but if I needed a hit in a big spot, I'd go with Jeter. Even if A rod was still in texas. I just think Jeter can handle the pressure better.
  19. LOl, are you serious? A rod blows. He's far and away the best SS on the team this year.
  20. Which would you rather have? Nick green who can't field or hit, or Cora who can field exceptionally well, but can't hit?
  21. White sox have to make the playoffs but yeah he is having a great year. I think a lot of sports writers feel like they almost owe Jeter an MVP though since he's been a big part of so many winning teams and has no MVP trophies to show for it.
  22. I don't think Davis will be playing for awhile. He had knee surgery and his knee just isn't responding. But trading him to Pittsburgh for Staley is a terrible idea. Staley is over the hill, while Davis is still has a lot of potential though his knee is really hurting that potentia. He might have another surgery if the knee still doesn't respond.
  23. He's also on the team that is 7 games up despite all the injuries. If they shut down ortiz and the red sox miss the playoffs, jeter is the frontrunner.
  24. oh there are, I'm not one of them, but there are yankee fans that hate everything about him. I just hate the player cause he's not doing anything.
