Although not an NFL record, Manning threw 6 TD passes in a little over a half against the Detroit Lions on November 25, 2004. It was the second time in his career that Manning achieved this (also in 2003), and he has been the only NFL player to throw 6 TDs in a regular season game since 1991. [3]
