  1. I just dont think its a 100% acurate, the only live game I saw this year was when lester was pitching and he was no wheres near 95 , and he was actually pitching against kazmir ( who is at 92.9 on that data ) . and kazmir was a good 4,5 MPH harder .. unless i dont remember correctly ( it was the august 14th game ) :dunno:
  2. BTW that ONE game was the hardest that he threw all year
  3. . Only players with a minimum of 100 pitches while PITCHf/x was on are listed. Be a little careful looking at the numbers below as some of them have very small statistics. Also, to try to give you a true representation of what a pitcher throws I am showing each pitch like it was thrown at sea level at standard temperature (59 degrees). If I didn't do this pitches thrown in very warm weather or at Coors would break up to 25% less and you would end up with even more confusing blobs to look at thats the definition of your stats.....those stats are off and just admit it
  4. OK I found the problem these stats are just when the Pitch f/x was ON , so yeah we cant go by that graph
  5. i tought so at first .. but im not sure anymore but i do know for sure theres 400+ pitches that he threw thats not accounted for on that list
  6. that 93.14 IS OFF..... the numbers dont match up .lester threw 1083 pitches this year , it only shows 652 on that link ,,does lester have another pitch he throws Im not aware off?
  7. I actually read that on his scouting report from a year ago ,lets see if I can find the article again
  8. yes he can throw 95, the problem is , the harder he throws the wilder he gets , when he throws 91-92 he has much better control
  9. yeah and then when the new year comes around it will change to " santanna to be traded by Feb 1st" its really getting annoying , just do it allready!
  10. I wouldn't be worried just yet, the reason for the poor 2nd half was brady going for the record books , wich he could afford to do with this s***** dolphins team
  11. honestly , as long as he keeps pitching like he has been , I couldn't care less if he's telling the truth or not about this
  12. Paps saying that his dog ate the ball is like clemens saying he didn't take steriods . its all BS
  13. yeah, he needs to be kicked out of the league
  14. so why would that make a team tired ? whats the difference of playing 3 straight weeks at a 4PM start time than 3 straight at 8PM?
  15. YEAH for a SS, diferent position ...ZR are different for different position
  16. his ZR was 778 his 3rd best of his career , wich i find is the best way to determine someone's defense, most of lowell's error came early in the season , also errors isnt the best way to determin someones defense Zone rating. The percentage of balls fielded by a player in his typical defensive "zone," brandon inge is the only one in the AL who had a better ZR than lowell in 2007 at 803
  17. Lowell didn't have an off year at 3rd, if you look at 2004 and 2005, his stats are right around that ..in 2006 was his best defensive year
  18. I'd like to keep ellsbury myself BUT this team would be much better with santanna as SP and crisp at center than having ellsbury at center and no santanna . like you said , you can never have to much pitching
  19. so if you score 100 on a test , you dont think you can do it again ? if crisp is healthy there's no doubt that he will put up similar defensive numbers
  20. so the pats have locked 1 rd bye ...now if the colts were to struggle the next 3 weeks and end up tied with the steelers , who would have the other 1rd bye? If im not mistaken its whoever of the 2 who would have a better conference record ?
  21. the same wind the ravens were playing in
  22. oh so I get it now.... if the pats only win by 7 or less it means that they werent playing their best game , or the other team was playing like a "super bowl team " so in the case of the ravens they kept their best for the pats and layed down for the colts right ?
