You're taking AB away from you're best hitters by putting Crawford batting 2nd . and you're also creating more outs putting Crawford batting second witch again takes away AB for the best hitters and BTW Pedroia, Agon and Ellsbury score more consitensly than Crawford

You make good points BUT .. As ORS mentioned , you're pushing the best part of the lineup down a notch in the order and putting someone who's not very good at getting on base witch translates more outs at the top of the order . Not a good move

No not for swinging 3-0, he's out of line to charge the mound . So what if Gregg made those comments , Ortiz should of laughed at him and turned around . Especially when you're up 10-3 Its not like he got hit by a pitch . He's probly looking at a 5 game suspension where the lineup is going to take a hit . Remember interleague play ? this team was awfull when they had to take Ortiz out of the lineup .

Papelbon has been quite unlucky this year . it seems everytime someone puts wood on the ball it finds a hole . His K rate is his best since 2007 and his BB is quite lower than previous 2 years .

Ah ok... I see how this works . Cherry picking stats. So , does April not count for him ? I was never happy with the Crawford signing, especially for the price they got him for . With the contract he was awarded he should be putting up close to Gonzo numbers
