    According to fangraphs here's what JD was worth 2007 7.6 2008 18.4 2009 22.5 2010 9.9 4 year average of 14.6 even with his poor year this year I wouldn't call his contract a bust.

    I have over 10 T's , 2 Jackets, 1 Jersey, 5 Hats . unless I'm at work , I always wear something Red Sox. and I also have a s*** load of other stuff ... Notepads, mouse pad, cell phone cover, calendar, street sign. BBQ cover, Key fob, dog collar and leash, dog bowl , sticker for car, Fenway park replica, David Ortiz signed bat, 20 baseballs , monopoly game, binoculars , lunch bag, towel, x-mas tree ornaments, a few pictures and I could go on some more

    its not stupid to say Carl Crawford was WAY overpaid .

    I'm justifying it with his career averages . Is Carl Crawford suddenly going to get on base at a 375 + clip and OPS over 850 and hit 25 HR every year to be worth his 140 MIL contract ?

    I'm making some damn good arguments and backing it up with stats that they overpaid for Crawford by a wide margin . I hate the Damn contract , not the player itself. I would have totally fine if they would have gotten him for 100 MIL instead of 140
