    Manny has not been driving in runs or hitting home runs. I am talking about the kind of Manny Zone in which he hits about 5 Jacks in a week. We have not seen good power from Manny or Ortiz this season. I would rather have Ortiz around .295 with 20 homeruns rather than .330 with 10 homeruns. So once the duo gets hot in terms of power, that can carry a club offensively for a long time.

    DiceK is going to be gone after the 5th, he is becoming increasing hard to watch, over the the last three starts.

    You are forgetting that Manny has not gotten hot in terms of homeruns and RBIS yet, which he will because he his Manny and he seems locked in right now. Do you think Lugo is going to hit .224 and Drew .227, so I think it will average out, but it will be around the same as it is now.

    I would agree that its too early, but what is that wrong with pointing out that Dinardo is actually outing pitching DiceK so far. 4 innings is almost half a game, I see no problems with someone pointing out what has been true.

    Nice turn of events... there is one thing I have picked up on DiceK, he can't consistently throw his FB by major leauge hitters. To me that has been disapointing because we were all told that he can get up to 96-97 when he needs it. From what I have seen thats just not true. I have seen him max out at 94 MPH on the NESN radar gun this season.

    Nice first inning for DiceK, seems like he was attacking more with his fastball, which I think is generally a good thing.

    Would they bring up Brandon Moss? I would like to see what this kid can do. I think he has about 10 homeruns and 40 RBIS and is batting around .300.

    I have thought about a lot lately, and I'm actually more excited when Willy Mo is in the lineup rather than Drew. Eventually when Drew gets hot I think Coco needs to fade slowly to the bench.

    I hope we can start to get out of this mini slide. Even with the huge lead, losing 4-5 games is not fun (especially since when the games end at 1:00 AM). I look for DiceK to do pretty well tonight against a fairly weak lineup. We just have to keep frigging Mark Ellis under control. Is anybody eles regreting the Drew contract at this point. If we were won't doing so well like we are, he would absolutely be getting crushed by everyone right now. How can someone so damn talented look so bad at the plate?

    By what means does DiceK throw soft? He has a 95 mph fastball and he doesn't back down from any hitter. Sure he has had a few bad outtings, but for the most part I have been extremely satisfied with his progess so far and expect him to continue to get better with more knowledge of lineups.

    Trupe had great personality in his voice, I can't stand Gefner. I used to shut the T.V. off and just listen to Joe and Jerry, but now I have to strickly watch Nesn because Gefner is has zero character in his voice. He is boring as s***. I do kind of like O'Brien however, I listen to Trupe for some of the most memorable moments in Red Sox history and it is kind of hard to adjust to a new voice.

    Beckett got screwed in that inning big time. Lowell should have eaten that ball squibbed down the third baseline.

    I still think Arod should have been drilled for his dirty play on Pedroia.

    I Just have a feeling there is going to be some fireworks today. We can not let Proctor off the hook for what he almost did last night. By the end of the series a Yankee is going to get drilled, perferably AROD or Jeter so Varitek can kick one of their asses again.
