    Hansen might be joining the rotation. If he can get a feel for that change up he could be just as good a starter as we all thought he would be as a closer. Papelbon might not be warming Hansens seat. He might be the closer permanently.

    Yeah, he might be houston bound, which means that the sox desperately need a plan for a 5th starter. We might start by looking to our closer.

    It is up, but its on hold. I've been way busier this semester than I ever planned, and so has dave who runs the site with me. Neither of us have the time right now to get a site up and running but this summer will be a different story. It will be going again soon.

    This one seems a little far fetched. You're telling me Terry Francona has hooked up with a woman? I think not.

    They're not going to dump a 26 year old who has options. He will go back to AAA, but I still don't even see reason for that because he was a valuable long man. Seanez has been horrible. Flat out terrible. His performance lately has been Embree-eqsque and its painful to watch. I think I could get a hit off him and in 17 AB's in town league this year, I don't have a hit yet and I'm batting against kids with the 70mph fastballs and acne. Tavarez has been bad, yeah, but a guy like Tavarez has been able to get outs in the past, and he plays with some intensity. I don't think he is just going to fade away and die. He is no papelbon, but I think he has more left in the tank than Seanez who has had a couple of good years but otherwise in his career really hasn't been anything to write home about. I think Tavarez is worth keeping in the long run. Seanez makes me want to throw up. Maybe he is better off in the world fighting championships than on the mound.

    I was the first person to join talksox. I joined before yeszir did. I hid though. He just didn't find me until july. I was hiding. I owned him. Welcome back chin, wondered where you went.

    Over, but not much. I think Hansen unfortunetly will take over after the all star break. Id like him to stay in AAA, but I also giggle when he pitches and its fun to see. So hey, not complaining. Over, but like a day.

    Why is papelbon our closer? We should really maybe look for someone to trade papelbon too because Seanez is pushing him out of the closer role. Hes awesome. Jeez.

    Uhh, Hansen had the best breaking ball in the 2005 draft... why does everyone think he needs more pitches? Is that trendy to say? He got hit once probably because he is used to blowing away AA hitters while playing with them like peter gammons described.

    I love Jeter. I have to admit, Jeter is one of the many athletes who make me giggle on a regular basis. Puljols, Oswalt, Jeter and Felix for baseball, then there is Tom Brady, Rodney Harrison and LT.

    crappy loss. this one stung. I'm starting to hate the blue jays. BJ Ryan really is an ugly guy and that delivery of his makes me want to puke. Does anyone else get sick when he throws the ball? Its ugly.

    Seriously, Papelbon looks hurt. He stinks. Lets DFA him. I really need a home run. I just did a huge physics open book and I need someone to just slam a f***ing bomb right now because BJ Ryan looks like a cheap porno actor or performer whatever they are called,.
