  1. yea, cause Thomas had a mediocre 3.13 GAA and .905 save% in 06-07
  2. well there's your justification right there...
  3. if the Sox win, whoever started the last GT starts the next one
  4. Do you think Rask will learn more about facing NHL players by playing 60 games a year or by playing 5-10 games a year until he's 26? And then there's the fact that I don't think neither he nor his agent will tolerate sitting around for the next four years
  5. you are not gonna get stability between the pipes from a guy who's gonna make 5 mil until he's 40. you're gonna get groin injuries and declining performance. you're also gonna stifle the development of one of hockey's top goaltending prospects
  6. even if the cap stays the same, its a bad contract that limits payroll flexibility
  7. hope everything turns out ok
  8. Prospects are never a sure thing but the chances of Rask taking the puck and running with it are probably greater than the chances of Thomas being effective and living up to his salary for the next four years. trust me, that's far from an accomplishment
  9. Gammons says Pedroia might skip the ASG to be with his wife
  10. what don't you get? Eck comes off as more of a homer than Remy does on air
  11. typical Pap save
  12. if he manages to walk out with pants on, he's thinking too much
  13. Phase 1: Throw Strikes Phase 2: ????? Phase 3: Profit!
  14. Yea but this way he'll get to play through the duration of his Yankee contract....
  15. ok, thats enough with the Yay Nomah stuff no?
