    the point of the ovation is to thank a guy for what he did for the team during his time with the Red Sox. Damon played hard for 4 years for the team.     I did a bit of research and as far as I know, the only blackouts I get are for playoff games, which I get on TV anyway. Being in Canada, I'm not among any of the zip codes blacked out

    First off, I'm sorry if this topic has been covered already. I did a search but didn't find anything. Anyway, I just purchased the MLB.TV season-long subscription cause quite frankly, I'm tired of watching Sox games on GameCast and I'm tired of only being able to watch the Sox when they play the Jays (Sportsnet shows the Jays games here in Canada) So I'm just wondering, are there any drawbacks to having MLB.TV cause to me, for $50 this seems like the greatest thing in the world to someone like me, someone who very rarely has TV access to Sox games
