It depends, he stuck with Pedroia at the beginning of 2007 rather than go full-time to Alex Cora. History suggests Ortiz will come around so I don't think he should be benched.

Did you know that Tampa actually cut Pena in 2007? The only reason he made it back to the team was cause Greg Norton got hurt. They fell ass-backwards into Pena's success so it's a little unfair to suggest Francona held down Pena out of loyalty to Eric Hinske.

if you call interference, its because one player hindered another player's progress when he didn't have the puck. If the refs thought Bergeron dove, don't you find that a bit contradictory considering what interference is?

I'm talking about when the game wasn't im complete garbage time. For one thing, I'm not sure how you call interference and diving on the same play but the refs managed to do it. Anyway, before this gets misconstrued as me blaming the refs for the loss, thats far from what I'm doing but before anyone says the Habs are gonna get all the calls in Montreal, lets call a spade a spade
