We have no problem at all. I'm sure if it were at all physically possible you would have been there. I didn't mean to pick on anybody, I was more or less talking outloud. It was also held at a poor time as many members were heading back to school. But since I didn't join until latter in the year, there wasn't much choice. So this year I was thinking of starting earlier, say like latter May and June. The thought being that most of the students ( especially college ) will be out and may not have settled into their summer jobs. Also maybe spread them out more, last year a concentrated on two days. Earlier in the year, I gave the Group Sales route a try... fat chance. I couldn't even get to talk a warm body.

Not saying we'll have one, But there's a good chance. Some of the winners, either gave up tickets or said they couldn't go. It was somewhat of a waste. So this year I want people to win not just be awarded. That's if a have a contest. I need imput, creative contests, I feel like Johnny V.

SeaBF, its relevant. You made your choices to fit you needs and budget, and that works for you. Remember, we have a wide diversity of members from not just the US ( although most are and the majority is the North East ). Each fan has different needs, requirements, and resources. Your option of using a ticket package from a travel agency works for you and I'm happy for you. It might work for other members and that would be great. However, I could be wrong, but most members / RS fans will improvise. For instance does one sacrifice the quality of seats ( which depends on the definition of "good seats" ), the number of seats, and how many times you want to go. You can also add in transportation costs, parking, lodging, food, etc. These are just some of the factors involved ( which I'm sure you know ), yet each person's location, income, time, desire, and responsibilities affect their options. Maybe he has tons of frequent flyer miles or can get a shuttle fare. It doesn't matter, all he's saying is here's an option that works for him. There are a number of venues that I, or anyone else, could got to the teams web site and buy field box tickets at face and make it a mini vacation or "road trip" it justs depends on all of the aforementioned.
