Wow. Let's see how many discussion points did you just open up ? Most talk show hosts would be envious. First of the Yes board is a joke. Quality NY fans have come here, or will and I don't see that kind of reaction from them yet. Come backs are usually a combination a good / great bull pen and good hitting. I still maintain that good/great pitching will cancel out good/great hitting. Currently, I'd say that the Sox have a superior bullpen. Also I'm not quite sure if we're looking at each team's Y-T-D record or just head-to -head. As far as injuries go, I believe it is a combination of two factors. The first, obviously is just luck. The second is a pet theory of mine. If one considers hard trying players ( dirtdogs ). They have a tendency to dive, crash into walls and other players, slide head first, ect. They also accumulate a history of injuries. With the factor of age considered, both the frequency and rehabilitation time will increase. As far as George goes, he is well known to be over reactive.

You're entirely correct. What was the intent ? There was none. I'll make an analogy, you can argue with an umpire, to a point, exceed that point swear, argue strikes, etc. tyou will get ejected. However, physically make contact and you will most certainly face a suspention. Bernie Williams has been a class act ( his skills may have eroded ) his entire career not some mental case with a long history He should not receive any suspention. Infact, if I bumped into him on the Cape, I'd buy him a beer, just for all the great baseball moments he's provided.

Not to throw in the negative, but isn't he on the same pace to match last years horrendous fielding ( ie errors ) ? So much for the "Fenway Infield". His hitting wasn't the problem when he was with the Sox.

We don't have a section, per se, for the current Fantasy Leagues ( there are two ). They are are currently under the "Prizes and Contests" forum.
