  1. Before you start singing praises to Dan D. take a look at what he did to the farm system and the massive contracts he left behind. How many young studs on the roster and waiting in the wings in the minors. Excuse me, Co-GM's were figure heads, Theo never really left. You don't know s***.
  2. Welcome aboard.

  6. In fairness, I'm not sure that it was ever officially stated that the official design had been selected. That being said, all discussion and especially design input has been truly appreciated. The more that these were received, the more the Talksox T-Shirt would be reflective of of our unique community. You may or not be aware, that developing our t-shirt has been going on now for almost a year ( probably longer, but that's how long I've been here ). The first shirt was produced as a quick and simple baseball jersey. some went to winners of the "Ticket Giveaways", some to "good posters", and the rest to respondents of "free t-shirts". But it was at that time that the wheels started turning. Yeszir and others starting working on and off to produce a t-shirt that would be unique to Talksox. Remember, we all have "lives" ( well most of us do ), which simply means we are here to have fun and share our passion for the Sox. It takes the time and effort of many to achieve this. So, to Yeszir and all that contributed to new Talksox T-Shirt, give yourself a pat on the back.

  13. From the the Sox point of view, I'd agreed with you. I was however, responding to SeabeachFred with respect to Trot's position with has been reasonable.
  14. It worked well for Bronson.
  15. I'm sorry about any confusion. I was thanking Yankshater for answering my question. I'll have to pass on your Fantasy Football League.
  16. I'll bite, whats a W/T or W/R ?
  17. Maybe we can could hook-up when you're down.
  18. I heard that too. However, I beleive it was in the context of pitching starts after the All Star break. Wakefield was supposed to start the first game after the break, but they've decided to push it back a few days. Currently there is no plan to put him on the DL.
  19. Anyone interested in a link to the Cape's local newspaper for Cape League coverage here it is : http://www.capecodonline.com/cctimes/sports/index.htm
  20. Maybe I'm missing something, or perhaps looking to far ahead. But as I see it, we're currently pretty much set with our 1-4. Our need for a 5th starter is not dire. We don't need a stud ( although nice if at the right price ). What we need is a journey man 500 % pitcher who eats up some innings. Thus keeping the load off the bullpen. Come the playoffs, the rotation becomes a four man rotation due to travel days. I believe the more pressing need is for middle and long relievers, as I'm sure most will agree our current situation is sub par with Tarves and Seanez.
  21. Anyone got the starting lineups ?
  22. Welcome aboard, you'll love it here.
  23. Okay, I just don't get it.
