  1. do you think a couple of wins against the Rays will be enough to keep the sox going? it just doesn't feel like much of a victory. I hope the sox play like they are only a half game ahead.
  2. It was on a shirt outside of Fenway. I died laughing.. oh and you are very right. we hate A-Rod cause he's a frickin loser, not cause he isnt on the sox and, yes, he's good...but so are a dozen other mlb players that arent as over-rated, over-payed and cheating.
  3. definitely comfortable when there's a grounder to third. he just gets it almost every time.
  4. Mueller. he WILL win a gold glove and he's been great in july proving that he can handle the pressure from this close AL East race. just seems like someone i could count on. have you seen some of his great plays lately?
  5. Although Boston would by far be the only place I'd play I do agree that STL has wonderful fans. My dad first pointed this out to me when we visited this summer. Kinda sad to see Busch go because It is a very fun stadium and they have the most respectful fans. Then again, what would baseball be without a little rowdiness But as for NY..I couldn't hate going to Yank stadium more. My few experiences have involved some pretty jerky people and in particular, this one really loud drunk guy that acted surprised as hell that I actually booed A-Rod.
  6. just be glad the sox aren't stiffs like them. seriously, if Manny had done something crazy like go into the monster with a team like the yankees, he'd be shot right now.
  7. Go Cora! game over.. am currently content with our recent pick-ups
  8. Yikes...just logged onto MLB gameday and first thing i see is home run..but glad Graffanino and all the sox seem to be doing okay...hence the nine runs
  9. or maybe it's cause he slapped a ball out of someones hands? just a thought.
  10. Exactly. did you expect you'd come here to celebrate and we would congratulate you or something? Of course we're going to oppose you.
  11. The game was on YES...that music makes me horribly mad when we lose but kind of happy when we win. it changes
  12. Twins win! Life is good.
  13. that was the sweetest thing of my life
  14. Ahhhhh...love the sound of MLB extra innings music after a good old fashioned Yankee loss.
  15. sox again in 1st...let the forum fighting ensue.
  16. That man just saved my life.
  17. I know...with an effin rookie on the mound... OH GOODNESS! GO TEXAS!!!! HR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Oh please let this be the start of something for Texas
  19. Perhaps this would take away from the integrity of the game. It won't be as exciting to watch a close play knowing that the Umps will just automatically get to review. There wouldn't be any more fan arguing and coaches coming out of the dugouts to challenge. Baseball would lose its spontaneous anything-can-happen style. I'd be kinda bored with it.
  20. Of course we'll forget about 2004..we'll be celebrating our 2005 victory :harhar:
