    Actually, I'm quite a nice guy. You don't like me because I called you out about being biased and proved it. Get over it. I called you pathetic because you were obviously trying to get under my skin with the Phillip Hughes and Mo saying hi comment, and it was a pathetic attempt. You guys were railing on DiNardo (who's not much more than a AAAA player), and I merely showed that the Yankees have had similar performances from one of their minor leaguers this year. Hughes and Rivera were totally out of context.

    If the Sox have the division wrapped up by Sept. 30, here is what will be facing the Yankees the last two games: Starting pitchers Oct. 1 - Lenny DiNardo Oct. 2 - Abe Alvarez Lineup CF - Machado SS - Ramirez 1B - Petagine DH - Mirabelli C - Shoppach LF - Hyzdu 3B - Mueller (only because Youk is down with an injury) 2B - Cora RF - Stern BP available Harville Gonzalez Harville Hansen (if they don't think he'll be on the postseason roster) Harville Tito won't play the starters (even if the Yankees postseason is on the line) once the Sox are in the postseason. It's a nice thought though.

    If an ump is consistent with a strikezone that big, he will get some really nice Christmas presents from MLB pitchers every year.

    That 1-1 pitch to Koskie by Mo was as far off the plate as I've seen a strike called.

    I just got back from dropping my daughter off at her grandmother's house. Looks like we exploded for another big inning.

    Wang's BABIP is regressing to the norm this inning. It was bound to happen at some point.

    Funny. But since I counter with my own opinion in the same sentence, I don't think the captain obvious flag needed to be raised.

    That's your opinion, which is fine, but I don't see a problem with having Yankee game threads. Without them, discussion about their games will end up in the Sox game thread. Coming down the stretch with the records so close, people are going to be scoreboard watching. I would prefer that they were 7 games out and of no concern to us, but that is not the case. We have our fate in our own hands, but what they do affects us now. People are going to want to talk about it, especially while it is happening. Yankee fans will come to this site for one reason; it is a Sox site. Having a game thread, or not, will not deter them from posting.

    RS makes the Yankee game thread every day. Is he supposed to wait until someone gets the Sox game thread (usually YS013) done before he does it?

    Growing pains. Everyone has to go through them. Paps, MDC, and Hansen are all going to be big time performers for this team in the future.

    I love how they sacked up and gritted out a win on a day the Yankees lost. It's now an 8 game season where we have 7 of 8 at home and they have 7 of 8 on the road. Give 'em hell tomorrow Boomer.
