  1. Schill's getting peppered.
  2. Unbelievable. This lineup is a pitcher grinding machine. 27 pitches for Meche-man through 1. I'm stupefied. They are the grindiest grinders to ever grrrrrrind and grindel grandel pitching grendel. Grrrr. Do I sould like anyone?
  3. I would like to say Miggy Cabrera is going off today for my fantasy team. 2-2, bomb, 2B, 4 ribs, BB...I love that guy.
  4. What's the story? Gameday said Wigginton grounded out.
  5. Might as well count that one as a double.
  6. We've been over this before, his numbers against NY are magnified by the bad outings, but 80% he doesn't allow anyone to score, and his dominance against lefties is real. It doesn't matter though, because Tito won't use him in that situation if his binky, Timlin, is available. Is that the first bash of the new season?
  7. If it's against the Yankees and we're looking at Abreu, Rodriguez, Giambi, then I hand the ball to Romero without an ounce of fear. He dominates lefties, even when he stunk last year, and, as everyone knows, ARod isn't doing s*** in that situation.
  8. I'll bite at the obvious choice. Papi (6/15 with 4 bombs off the Meche-man )
  9. Kenny Anderson was the best freshman PG I've ever seen, and probably ever will. He was insane good at GT. As far as gross numbers and skills go, Pistol Pete is hard to overlook - although he wasn't playing varsity until his sophmore year due to the rules.
  10. You can check the link I provided above. It shows all the blacked out zip codes. It's usually just the metro area.
  11. If you can watch Yankee games on MLB.TV, then you probably aren't in the blackout region. Where do you live?
  12. He's in the blackout region.
  13. I think McClung got sent down. Cantu too (Can-tutu?).
  14. Hoops just doesn't grab me like the diamond does. I prefer the NCAA to the NBA, and the tourney is special every year, but baseball is king to me.
  15. It's shame this game is on opening day. I think it's a hell of a matchup, but I'll have a hard time switching over to it with baseball on for 12 straight hours today.
  16. Nice try ESPN, but not many people give a s*** that you are airing the Women's Final-4 on the main station. Reyes is fun to watch.
  17. And we're off...
  18. Uggla, as that was who Jacko was calling terrible. As far as your comment, didn't that evaluation completely miss the boat, at least thus far, with Uggla? So, I would contend it is relevant if you are terrible or not. If he was indeed terrible, then he never would have been given a shot.
  19. He didn't dip, he chewed. Redman, Beechnut and the like, not Skoal.
  20. I don't see what's funny. The Cubs have a very good shot at going to the playoffs this year and well into the future. They have a core of Zambrano, Hill, Lee, Ramirez, Soriano, and Barret with emerging talent like Ryan Theriot, Felix Pie. Not to mention, they just got rid of what I thought was their biggest obstacle, Dusty Baker.
  21. Sure, once you get used to the smell.
  22. Dead mother paperweight? I suppose it's better than the dead mother throw pillow.
  23. No, if I was a 17 y/o hot chick, I'd never leave the house. I'm 32.
