  1. I have a feeling Lee did that accidentally-on purpose. "Just take your f***ing base already".
  2. Aaron Hill singles, Aaron Hill out at first? What the hell?
  3. My first gamethread Drew finally busts out.
  4. NICE. Haha Cliff Lee you knew it couldnt last.
  5. As the Sox were converting their leadoff double, the Yankees were wasting one.
  6. Here kids, is another sad example of PWI: Posting while intoxicated.
  7. Did I just see a post with the name 'Dough Mirrabelli'?
  8. Im glad we got the call, but how the hell was that not a strike?
  9. So we get nohit when I start gamethreads. Sorry everyone.
  10. Ben Roethlisberger better step back and take a good long look at his decisions in life, now.
  11. I want the Sox to take an early lead, that way not only will they have a better chance to win, but so Trot can hit a home run and be able to cheer him like hell.
  12. Why is WMP in left? Why not DH him and put Manny in left where he belongs? GAHHH TITO what the hell.
  13. Ill delete this one and you can make it over again.
  14. Hed damn well better get one. Hell, Im going to clap for him and he wont even hear me.
  15. I just looked through this seasons Gamethreads. The Sox have only lost three series all year: 2 of 3 to Texas, 2 of 3 to New York, and 2 of 2 to Toronto. All three series' Gamethreads werent started by the same person. Everytime they are, we win the series.
  16. My first Gamethread of the season. Boston (34-15) vs. Cleveland (31-17), Monday, 7:05 p.m. ET http://thephoenix.com/SoxBlog/content/binary/Curt.Schilling.jpg BOS: RHP Curt Schilling (4-2, 3.94 ERA) Schilling is 1-2 with a 4.40 ERA in six career games (four starts) against the Guardians. He is facing Cleveland for the first time this season. Last year, he gave up five runs on nine hits and struck out eight in 6 2/3 innings in an April 25 start at Jacobs Field, but had a no-decision in Boston's 8-6 win. http://mlb.mlb.com/images/2006/09/07/NLoECl35.jpg CLE: LHP Cliff Lee (2-1, 5.93 ERA) Lee is coming off an 11-7 loss to Kansas City in which he gave up seven runs in the first two innings. He allowed a season-high eight runs in 4 1/3 innings in that loss to the Royals, his fifth start of the season. Lee is 2-1 with a 3.45 ERA in five career starts against Boston. Ill leave the mojo up to the experts. All I have to say is Schilling...step the f*** up and pitch like you know you can, you son of a bitch.
