    ROTY is such a hilarious award when you consider where a lot of the winners are now. Angel Berroha?: DFA'd Hinske: Traded for a sack of beans, bench player batting .190 Jennings: Traded for better players, not pitching very well outside of Coors. Kerry Wood: Hahahaha Hideo Nomo: Where'd he go, anyways? I mean, there are a lot of good guys, Pujols, Ichiro, Willis, Street, Verlander, Beltran, Jeter, Hanley....but still.

    With Damon almost definitely headed to the DL, I wouldnt be surprised if the Yankees pick him up. When your bench consists of Andy Phillips, Miguel Cairo, and the kids from "The Sandlot" theres no reason not to pick up an extra outfielder.

    Off topic, but does any defending World Series champion have an excuse not to convert a tie-game, bases loaded, one out situation in the bottom of the ninth into a win against the Kansas City f***ing Royals? Cards SUCK this season. SUCK.

    Dont forget hes kept us in a few games against aces (Second start against Halladay and against Santana.) If the Sox had converted all the baserunners they got against Johan, we wouldve been looking at a 4 or 5 to 2 win.
