  1. I have a feeling this will go extra innings. Hopefully not too extra.
  2. Yeah, sure. I'd like to see you cite some of those times.
  3. You know, I'm just gonna say these gamethreads are starting to become a pain in the ass to read. If it wasn't annoying enough with people freaking out about what's happening in the game, which is normal anyway, it's getting worse with these few people going around being real smart asses and being inflammatory. Seriously f*** off. Watch the game, stop going at each other. Seriously If we end up winning and i keep seeing this s*** i'm not even gonna bother to make another f***ing game thread.
  4. Oh well, we just signed Kevin Millwood to a minor league deal so everything will be alight.... *begins tying noose*
  5. Bard has been awfully inconsistent. What the hell
  6. Another day, another win. Keep on rolling. Beckett Vs. Verlander. Should be a good one.
  7. since October of 2004
  8. This rain cannot mess up papi's flow. Tonights game better happen, and we better win. RED SOX (21-20) Ellsbury CF Pedroia 2B Gonzalez 1B Youkilis 3B Ortiz DH Lowrie SS Cameron RF Crawford LF Saltalamacchia C Pitching: RHP Clay Buchholz (4-3, 3.94). TIGERS (22-19) TBA Pitching: LHP Phil Coke (1-5, 4.54) Game time: 7:10 p.m.
  9. Didn't know what the deal was for rainouts. Sorry. Making thread now
  10. To me, the thing that's worse than the people who overreact and bitch and moan about the team are the people who bitch and moan about the people who bitch and moan. Really, it's a board of sports fans, do people honestly expect to see posts like "oh, we're losing 5-0, but we could come back possibly" or "he's not batting where he should be, but that's fine someday he will!" or "well he's pitching terribly and has a high pitch count and he's still in the game, that's alright though we don't have to win all the time"
  11. No. The main problem is there was a long time where Crawford was looking good and he didn't get moved. You don't constantly move people around all the time, but get some consistency, a consistency that IS GOOD FOR THE TEAM. Consistently batting Crawford 8th is bad. He performed good for a few weeks and wasn't moved when he should have been. Batting him 8th for that long kills him and the team more than it helps. Hitting in front of Varitek or Saltalamacchia all the time absolutely kills his skills. You put him 2nd and everyone moves down a slot, and Crawford sees better pitches, has more oppurtunities to use his speed, etc. than he did if he was hitting infront of a black hole. If he was moved up after the first few days of him getting hot then I guarantee you he would of been hitting better this month than he already is. He may of had a stretch of 2 bad hitting games but that wouldn't warrant him to go back down at all and none of us here are stupid enough to think that.
  12. Britton has better numbers against RHHs than against LHHs. This is gonna be real great.
  13. Oh I forgot, no anti-wake sentiments in my thread
  14. Last night's win was awesome. KEEP ROLLING. Wake Vs. Britton. Let's make like his name is Britain and send them packing. It's humid and a bit windy. I think the knuckler will dance tonight.
  15. Oh come on. Rarely will a team ever win when it's down 6-0. Especially after 5 innings.
  16. I f***ing love Gonzalez. So much.
  17. gooooooooooood. Keep working...
  18. Win this now please. Come on
  19. This game NEEDS to be won, damnit. It really needs to. Keep pace with TB and try to overtake NYY.
