  1. The Seadogs have some really good spects on their team. Hanley's also on the team and Murphy. Is Moss moved up to AA yet?
  2. I love you man. Pretty In Pinstripes I wish would make an account here lol.
  3. Winner: ...the Pats... Score: 27-17 MVP: Corey Dillon Anything else you may want to predict: The Eagles have had a horrible run defense all season, until last game, where they stopped Vick. But the Falcons were VERY one dimensional. Branch will give the revamped secondary fits, while Bill uses Dillon to jam the ball down their throats. The game will come down to the fourth quarter, Dillon will fumble, but Troy Brown will make the INT. Brady leads the team downfield and puts the game out of reach and Vinatieri will add on a FG to seal the deal.
  4. I agree it does, and I'll do my best to help .
  5. Well you can answer me this then: why is there such an unnatural bias towards Sox fans at: http://www.boards.yesnetwork.com ? We never did anything to them there. And they jump on us? Gimme a break. At least here you don't get called stupid for proving someone wrong with proof.
  6. Nenn can come back..and $300,000 for a possible elite RP or CP is well worth it.
  7. I'm torn between the fact that he had such a horrible 2nd half and got blown away in Game 7, and the fact that he is a quality pitcher before last years 2nd half. I don't know if he was injured or what, but Javy wasn't Javy.
  8. Vick VS Bruschi would be the best linebacker VS Vick show in the NFL.
  9. I'd take anything if they took his contract and we got to play Hanley.
  10. Beck isn't exactly young either..and we had him a few years back.
  11. Javy Vazquez for Payton isn't a bad move at all. Think about it, the DBacks then basically traded Randy Johnson for Jay Payton and Dionner Navarro lol. Vazquez would be great insurance and would give us a starter to start the year so Schilling doesn't have to rush back. As well if Miller's arm acts up or if Wells' back gives out we got a quality starter (at least a number 3 type SP) to fill in. And when not put his as$ in the pen and let him work out of there.
  12. 3 Message Boards... Say hello to Pedro45 from YESBoards !
  13. And Archie's gay . Peyton doesn't have what it takes to win big. I'm sorry but Brandon Stokey is the BEST 3rd WR in the game. Harrison is a top 3 WR, and James is a top 7 RB. He had plenty of help, and choked.
  14. Tom Brady is the next Joe Montana. Are you telling me that Montana wouldn't have had his success w/o SF?
  15. At least for next year, Williamson is infinitly better than Hawkins (mental make up...please see the 2003 ALCS).
  16. The Cubs, Mariners, White Sox, Cardinals (if desperate) and Dodgers could all afford Renteria and depending on injury prone Jose Reyes, the Mets. Even if you pay half his salary, Hanley Ramirez would only be making $300,000.
  17. Welcome all my Plumpamaniacs!! I know many posters already here, just took me awhile due to my laziness to create an account here. Just remember In Plump We Trust .
  18. I was going back in reguards of signing him since we got Ramirez (Hanley). We could trade Youkilis and move Renteria to 3B if need be too. There are to many things that could happen: Bronson Arroyo, Hanley Ramirez, David Murphy and Abe Alverez for Ben Sheets? Bottom line is Ramirez is a stud.
  19. Zen, I've said this a thousand times, but here is 1,001...you're my freakin' hero man.
  20. Agreed, if their going to possibly pay only MLB minimum salary I would have done that in a hearbeat, but Williamson also said last year he wants to close. The Cubs have a horrible pen, and he would easily be their closer. That might have affected his decision b/c Theo would have made that offer easy.
  21. If you want to take a look at Pavano, I know BSR and Zenny will agree that playing in Pro Player Stadium and having the 3rd best defense in the NL and one of the top five in the game playing behind you will save you some hits. Saving hits, saves runners, which saves runs. Pavano also now having to face players like Frank Thomas, David Ortiz, Aubrey Huff, Rafeal Palmiero, and other good hitting DH's instead of other team's pitchers won't help much either. My prediction of Carl Pavano: 15-10 4.35 ERA
  22. Renteria...could be....traded **gasp**
  23. I heard that if the Brewers can't sign Ben Sheets to a deal by July 31st...they would be interested in trading him. Now that we got Renteria...would a Hanley Ramirez/Bronson Arroyo for Ben Sheets and player A be a possible trade? Sheets is wicked nasty, and would be our Ace when Schilling retires.
