exactly. i wont trust any stats in other leagues or anything like that. my initial thought is that if hes bad, its not like they paid a lot of money and if hes good we didnt pay a lot of money. win win for the sox. good move theo.

i totally disagree. he said he would like to keep it for himself so he could sell it for his kids collage money. even though he makes over 3 million a year and doesnt even need any more cash, money was definitly involved in it.

the funny part about it was the dance after the fake moon. btw, when you lose at lambo field, all the fans actually moon your bus so i bet he was just giving packer fans a taste of thier own medicine.

$3 mill over one year with incentives that could bring it up to $9 mill. there rotation is really shaping up. all thjey needed was a guy at the fron of the rotation with some years behind him and some knowledge and it looks like they got him. he will rellly help CC develop even more thren he already has. look for them to come in 2nd place in the AL central this year behind the twins.

the mariners have 0 pitching and most of the team (with the exception of a few) is old. the'll come in last again. 1. A's 2. Angels 3. Rangers 4. Mariners thats how it will turn out.

the San Fran Giants are having an auction until friday at midnight on there site. there auctioning stuff like being able to throw out first pitch opening day and spend a day with barry bonds. all procedes go to the tsunami victims.

Oh boy, the Yanks are a freakin overpaid allstar team as usual But, we'll still beat em all out because we're the Red Sox. the yanks are a bunch of overpaid players, and most are out of their prime (not saying all of them, but a lot are). there pitching is just old. ill give you the offense. with exception of left infield, defense is shaky. i would't quite call them an "all star team" just yet.they'll be pretty good, but thell be kicked out of the playoffs bc we'll win the division and they lose the wildcard to a team from the west of the central.

doesnt infield defense involve THE WHOLE infield and not just 3 out of the 4?2b is a key position to have good D at. if there is not the same person there everday (with the exeption of rests days and stuff like that) than your doubleplay combo will be bad. defense is the most important up the middle and right now the yankees dont have that.
