    I was on the same plane with him when we acquired him a few years ago. They stuck him in coach......waaaaay in the back. New he wouldnt last long.

    Not this year. Even if Lugo comes back, rosters expand in less then a month, plus Lowrie has been playing very well since his last call up.

    I quite like Bay. My father grew up around Pittsburgh so ive always followed the Pirates to a small extent and thought highly of bay. Produces in a crappy hitters park for an even worse team. Now we get to see him in a ballpark where he can pepper the wall for doubles whenever he wants and is surrounded by much better hitters. There is no chance he will ever be as good as Manny was in his prime, but there havent been many hitters ever who could say that. Plus, I doubt we will be hearing "It's just Bay being Bay" in a bad sense anytime soon.

    Personally, with manny and ortiz behind them, I would leadoff Coco and stick Youk in the 2-spot. Loretta has done well, but with youkillis' tendency to get on base, I would prefer him over loretta. We arent a speed team anyway.

    Youve probly seen me around ever since i found this place during the title run in '04. Been a sox fan for as long as i can remember, but have been exposed to them less as I moved to California when I was 10. Now, at 18, I am proud to say I am returning to New England to attend college in Maine, so hopefully ill be able to catch a few more games. Anyway, hello everyone and GO SOX! Whoops...look like i can spell been.

    Nice Stern. From what ive seen from him so far, maybe he should be given a shot to stay with teh sox after the rule 5 limitations are over. Just my two cents.
