I think Al is ready to start and is better than decent. I think next season, if he started, he could be a 15 point 8 rebound kinda guy.
And about the trade, I'd say its more like an 89 (Pierce) and an 82 (Walker) for a 95 and potentially 98 or 99, Jordanesque, around 25.
Game Over
Final Score 13 Red Sox 5 Athletics
Wakefield got the win with 6 innings, 7 hits, 3 ERs, 5 BBs, and 2 Ks
Some notables were Nixon (2-4, HR[4] 4 RBIs[18]), Damon (2-4, 3 RBIs[20] 3 RS), and Millar (2-4, HR[1] 3 RBIs[18).
OH SNAP! HUGE WEEK LAST WEEK! BEATING THE NUMBER 1 TEAM, THE SPRINGFIELD RIFLES 8-2 AND IT LOOKS LIKE WE'VE GOT A NEW LEADER BABY, AND HIS NAME IS
DORTIZ4PREZ
Willing to trade by the way.
Hakim Warrik, Wayne Simien, and Francisco Garcia sound like perfect fits here. I'd love to see one of those 3 players in a Celtics jersey. Think Francisco could try out point guard and see how he likes it? (PG- Garcia SG- Pierce SF- Davis, I like that backcourt)
I'm pretty sure I saw something that Ainge was seriously thinking of trading for LeBron. Our team is so young and then we have Pierce and Walker. If we traded Pierce and Walker, our present team would be great and our future team would be amazing. If that happened, I could LeBron and Jefferson turning into a Kobe Shaq-like duo.
I didn't actually watch it but I saw very in-depth highlights. Gilbert Arenas...
I was rooting for the Bulls after what seemed like an Arizona like loss. It was like 20 pts with 5 minutes or something.
Lets look at ERA's:
Randy Johnson- 3.74 (Not bad)
Mike Mussina- 4.5 (Getting Worse)
Carl Pavano- 4.24 (Ooh! A gain!)
Kevin Brown- 8.25 (Bwahahbwahwehlkajeouaidanflasjgvas)
Chien Wang- 2.57 (Youv'e got a new ace!)
Mariano Rivera- 2.35 (6.75 vs Sox)
Mike Stanton- 4 (Nice)
Felix Rodriguez- 6.3 (Thattaboy)
Tom Gordon- 4.38 (0-2 Record)
Jaret Wright- 9.15 (Best on the team!)
Tanyon Sturtze- 6.1 (Dont ever choke Gabe again)
Just take a look at those. Chuckle for a second.
