    Yea but bernie's not cuttin it any longer, he's lost some steps in the outfield. After that the yanks might go after clement,ortiz,pavano and pedro. Blowaizas out next year. I'm not mad with the trade though because contreras had to go also. I want them to get pedro, pavano and beltran.

    that wasnt the point, the point was that general manager hated the yankees for some reason and just didnt want to trade RJ to them. I'm glad we didnt trade posada, I would rather keep posada then have RJ with no posada. What was RJ going to do, help the yanks 1 year and then retire? I would rather have a guy who helps the yanks for another 5 or 6 years.

    Well the yanks werent able to get RJ, a rare exception. According to that gener manager, it didnt matter if we had babe ruth, ted williams and hank aaron in our farm system, he wasnt going to trade RJ to the yanks.

    which is strange because when the year started I thought he was on another team, or out of baseball completly. I never would have thought he would be back and pitching extremly well. I don't think he has given up over 4 runs.

    yankee fans are wanting about the same amount you said, in fact a lot of names we want you want, so we'll see. I think just for the fact Lowes described by the media as a "mental gidget" will be enough for him to want to leave. I don't want him though.

    Mussina,Brown,Vazquez,Duque, Lieber-ok but could be better. We dont really have an ace like the sox do with schilling and pedro.

    I was at one of the toronto games at the stadium, the only time I heard as much booing was when john rocker was introduced 3 years ago. John Rocker=major hick/*******.

    I'm having trouble believing you re going to be able to resign all those players and still actually bring in players. Players you'll be able to resign will doug M nad carbrera. Everybody else is not clear whether you 're going to resign them. I have doubts about pedro and varitek staying.
