I think happy players play better and I tihnk this team would not respond well to the militant kind Yankee rule. I don't know what it was with Nomar but this team jsut looks happier without him.

If you are saying all they can do is hit HR's Empire then they won't e able ot win in the post season. When you og to the postseason all you do is face tough pitching a big slugging team can't go deep into the playoffs.

I wish that would be awesome but it's not happening the Yankees rotation suck enough as is without bringing back up Halse or putting Sturtze back in the mix.

Actually I agree with Empire I think Sheff should get it I watch the Yankee games and they would be NO WHERE with out hm I mean literally we would be in front of the Yankees right now if you take him out of the picture.

Santana turned it on in the second half and a little before the all star break Muleder has been consistant with it all year.

Oh yeah I forgot. If I were a Yankee fan I would be VERY worried about the Yankees pen. Quantrill Gordon and Mo are being OVER WORKED to the max. I watch every Yankee game (to root against them ) and Quantrill (sp?) is already showing signs of wearing down and Gordon is begining to. Unless Torre starts using other people they are going to burn out in September and be ineffective come playoff time the Yankees pen is truely wearing down and theres no way to stop it because they literally have no noe else to throw outside of that they have a horrible pen.
