  1. lol, isn't being consistently inconsistent exactly what you described? I knew what you meant, btw.
  2. Wow. How does Baldy Boy miss the glove by 3 feet (and throw a ball in the process anyway) and gets a called strike, and Schilling gets squeezed right there? Jesus Christ, Diaz. Get off your knees; you're blowing the f***ing game, *******.
  3. Then that will be designated as my class's senior skip day.
  4. Welcome to the board! I'm pretty close to Brighton. I hope to go to BC next year (I'm a senior in high school), so I'd be right there. Haha, no real advice, all I can tell you is that you'll get better at the city's orientation as you get lost more and more. That's how I learned. Oh, and don't get too aggrivated when driving...we already have enough bad drivers to worry about. If I may (don't feel obligated, obviously), where are you attending grad school?
  5. Yes. I'm going Taco Bell hopping in that 3-hour window. If you knew me personally, you know I really would too.
  6. I'm going Taco Bell hopping on whatever day they said we could. Damn it Lugo.
  7. For the record, that VT touchdown was ********. He was clearly bobbling the ball as he fell out of bounds.
  8. Play him in games 4 and 6. Give each one of them a day off. If Ortiz's knee is really nagging, only use him in one game. I give him game 5 off because working in the field on back-to-back days could do a little more damage to his knee, and taking him out against the lefty (Francis) for that game makes the most sense.
  9. I got the OK to just leave them. Won't be changing them anymore. Sa-weet.
  10. Per riverside sluggers request (he wanted me to put these up because he couldn't): **Jimenez this season on the road in 7 games, 1-1 with a 4.61 ERA Schilling this season vs Colorado in 1 game, 0-1 with a 9.00 ERA. **At home in 15 games, 5-3 with a 4.25 ERA
  11. I was told to change them back after the game to make the forum neat again. I like them too though. I'll ask if we can just leave them.
  12. Actually, I bet you know none of them. Aren't you a freshman? Who cares anyway? No offense, but the way you responded to what he said made you sound like a six-year-old. "I know this dude." "SO? I KNOW THESE GUYS!!!!"
  13. Just got back from football to start the thread. My gamethreads have totally dominated the postseason. My mojo is f***in' kicking ass! GO SOX. Oh, go Eagles too - BC has a big game in Blacksburg tonight. Game Info: Date: Thursday, October 25th, 2007 Teams: Colorado Rockies (7-1) @ Boston Red Sox (8-3) Series: Red Sox, 1-0 First Pitch: 8:00pm EDT Venue: Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts TV: FOX Starting Pitchers: http://i.a.cnn.net/si/images/baseball/mlb/players/7900.jpghttp://bellsouthpwp.net/c/h/chinigor/TALKSOX/VS.GIFhttp://i.a.cnn.net/si/images/baseball/mlb/players/4267.jpg http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/col.gif#38 Ubaldo Jimenez (4-4, 4.28), (0-0, 1.59) http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/bos.gif#38 Curt Schilling (9-8, 3.87), (2-0, 3.38) Mojo of the day: DON'T STOP BELIEVING! I dunno, I just got an itch for this song. GO SOX! [youtube=Journey - Don't Stop Believing]ip1zsUIosoA BELIEVE MOJO!
  14. Chill. I push the envelope sometimes, but I get it up. I just got back from football practice. Gimme 5 minutes.
  15. I don't know, but I surely don't support him pitching on 3 days rest twice in this series.
  16. Just get the last out and get our lineup back to the plate. 6 k's would be nice.
  17. JOSH f***ING BECKETT! 4 K's to start the game!
  18. Anyone else wanna s*** on Drew? Anybody? Oh wait, haha, you never should have been. f***ers.
  19. Boston is one of the most liberal cities ever. If I campaigned for a Republican in Boston I would get harassed. Which board is this at?
  20. Yeah. They're that good. I think they're in the Top 25 in the country. They just have way too much damn speed. Their D-Linemen are so small, but they matchup well against big guys because they're just too fast. They'll probably go undefeated and roll right into the superbowl, and win it convincingly. I want to play them again because I really feel like we could beat them, but we don't play them during the regular season. Prep schools don't play public schools unfortunately. They only scrimmage them in the pre-season. Oh, they have a cupcake schedule too. I'm not sure how much that matters though...they're legitimate enough. Have you ever seen them play at Everett Stadium?
