1) You know what I meant. Your use of the word "definitely" in saying "I definitely didn't grow up in the suburbs" is implying that you grew up in an area that is anything but a suburb...you're implying that you grew up in an environment completely unlike a suburb. Now, I'm not saying that you meant "ghetto", but you know what I meant. I put the word in quotes in my other post because I was exaggerrating. Why don't you explain the area that you say you grew up in? I define it as a suburb.
2) I know what a ghetto is. Thanks.
3) Ok.
4) Ok.
5) I don't think it's racist either...I think you were just joking around. But you do kind of put yourself in a corner by playing the race card in the other thread, and then turning around and making this thread.
6) I remember the responses pretty well for both players. I find them to be close to the same. Fans grilled Clemens, and the media was all over the story. There are two differences I can think of at the top of my head between the two cases: 1) Clemens had teammates come to his defense, and Bonds didn't. This could be due to the fact that Bonds is a bad teammate, and a bad person, which leads me to my second point. 2) Clemens is not a dick to the media like Bonds is. Clemens doesn't come off as a dick as much as Bonds does. This has nothing to do with their skin color - the media may grill Bonds a little more because all he's ever done is bitch about how much the media sucks. Clemens keeps to himself more often than not. It has nothing to do with their respective races, and everything to do with the perception of their character.
