  1. LOL hahahahahaahhahhahahah
  2. John Lynch visited with the Patriots today, per ESPNews. I wouldn't mind him in a limited role, but he isn't even close to the player he used to be. See Red, just out of curiosity since you saw him a lot more than I did, what is he still even useful for? He seems to be able to stop the run from the secondary, but he can't cover close to enough ground anymore from what I've heard...
  3. 25 minutes later... Go to bed like you're so eloquently telling everyone else to? But no, seriously, I think even adam123 is smarter than BOY. Even the f***ing baby from the c-section I observed today knew when to shut his mouth when the situation called for it, which is more than I can say for this f***ing dumbass over here.
  4. I don't remember anyone in the national media crying about the Red Sox injuries in 2006...
  5. 2:30 before game time isn't that close. Either way, that wasn't too cool. Anyway, back to the thread - it makes sense to have Zink come up for this spot due to Wakefield's success against the Rangers recently. They seem to have trouble with the knuckleball, so why not replace Wake with another knuckler? It also doesn't hurt that he seems to be Pawtucket's best starter this year, but I have to think that the Rangers' troubles with the knuckleball seem to factor into the decision.
  6. Don't mind Thumper. In fact, like bosox21, I'm surprised this mistake doesn't happen more often with people who recently join the board. Don't worry about it, just expect that if we lose tonight it's solely because you messed up the mojo. I kid. Thumper, holy f*** dude, chill out. You did start a gamethread after a loss just yesterday, so maybe you're not so in touch with the "rules" of the game threads either.
  7. He was referring to Canseco during the 2000 season.

  9. The Yankees could not have blocked Boston from getting Canseco, nor the Blue Jays since they had a better record at the time they claimed him. They were more likely claiming him to block him from Oakland, as they had a better record than the Yankees at the time. Let me see if I can find an article.
  10. f*** YEAH JD! There's that timely hit you were looking for, das!
  11. For 2 PTBNL and Dallas Burk, who is currently recovering from TJ surgery. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3529966
  12. I guess that's one way of getting some publicity.
  13. And that changes what about his recent performance?
  14. I am kind of tempted to ask about what happened lol... since it certainly seems like the mood between them has changed. But it's none of my business. So, nevermind.
  15. I feel like this question has been asked millions of times, but when is Colon scheduled to return?
  16. I don't know if this was in support of me, outrage at his statement about knowing your place, or a mix of both, but thanks in any event, hahah.
