    and the yankees suck chant isnt really true either...i mean making the playoffs in countless numbers of years and being able to compete every year and being an ENORMOUSLY TOUGH TEAM...id say they arent that bad.

    we showed him respect last year during the regular season in his final regular season start against us, which was possibly his last against us. he came out and gave a curtain call, i dont think he is an ******* to many red sox fans, its the management that basically turned him away from boston. my parents friends are bestfriends with the clemens family, and they say they are incredibly nice people. i would show him respect for what hes done, whether you like him or not. its like what so many celtics fans say to magic johnson..."i respect you but i dont like you."

    yeah it was cairo, cabrera tried to do that to a lot of people though.

    the nl was huge, im glad khalil and bay were up there. they willl be huge for their respective teams next season and into the future wherever they go.

    lieber? this could be interesting and could hurt the yanks. they need a nice young pitcher in him. hes someone the sox could pick up and have an effective future with arroyo and him. not to mention effective now. im also thinking he wouldnt take too much to come to the sox. he got the boot from the yanks, i think he would be interested in coming here.

    hes been practicing with the team...he should be fine.

    im worried about this game. ty law out for 4-6 weeks with a broken foot, tyrone poole out with some other injury, thats 2 back ups in a secondary that's known for its strengths, and now we dont even have 2 of our key players against a very VERY good passing offense with bulger having the options of connection between isaac bruce and torry holt. im very worried about this game. we may be looking at 6-2 right in the face. this means we have to become a team were not well known for...an offensive dominant team.

    hah havent heard case closed in a long long time. anyway, i agree with everyone else so far, foulke, rivera, benitez, gagne, smoltz, k-rod possibly, id take all them before lidge.

    he made some sick plays this year, im sorry, but that catch where he dove into the stands against us was a great catch. i dont care what anyone says, they need to watch the plays a few times and realize that it was indeed necesary for him to dive into the stands or risk severely hurting himself.
