    i dont think theyre too bad. i actually enjoy listening to them. haha me and 2090 get mad at each otehr a lot but its not like i take it personally...i hope he doesnt either. but its all in good fun. people, i seriously think, mainly sox fans, tend to get their hatred for yankee fans to cloud their brain that they forget that its just a game. i do think that a majority of the yankee fans on here do contribute information, like yanksin05 and yanksin2010 and sometimes 2090. they have a right to be entitled to their opinions so let them have them...its not like theyre going to affect u 10 years down the road. anyway, the yankee fans are fine. if they annoy u, dont read their posts and dont post in response to them. i personally enjoy having them around...so i like to carry out the rivalry a bit. like i said, its all in good fun.

    ok... they didnt get RID of pedro, he left to some crazy offer from the mets. i wish him luck. lowe, good riddance, and besides, last time i checked, being a FA wasnt ownership getting rid of a player. varitek, hes a fa, and we are workng on him. i wouldnt be surprised if he left but i still think theres a good chance we get him back. nomar...well what he wanted wasnt worth it, plus his achilles injury. i hope he does well in chicago and fines a place that he will do well in. ownership isnt trying to get RID of anyone...in fact, with the exception of nomar and lowe, we are trying to get everyone BACK. pedro went somewhere else and now we are working hard on tek. what can u ask for?

    im well aware of being wrong, but its what i would have LIKED, not my prediction. and we said pedro was a met before it was official. RJ is as good as a yankee, but isnt yet. and thats the fact.

    your bias and inaccurate assumption of us as fans makes u sound pathetic. we would rather take a WS in a couple years and having a future by mkaing more money than busting our banks in the market in one year.

    PEOPLE! most of you are letting your bias cloud the facts. the yankees have a superior pitching staff, and thats all that needs to be said. if the yankees add RJ, i have a feeling we will be going for the wild card again. dont get your hopes up. RJ schilling moose wells pavano clement wright arroyo brown wake they could all ahve good games, but i just think the yankees have a more consistent rotation. throw run support in, maybe its closer i still think yankees are better. cubs yankees sox mets braves mets/braves is a toss up... the bottom line is the yankees got what they needed...PITCHING.

    no that is true, what yanksin2010 said. someone from espn went to each stadium, yankee and fenway, and dressed up as an opposing team's fan in each stadium. he got more crap at fenway than at yankee, he even got threatened to be beaten up at fenway...i read this A LONG TIME ago, and i dont have a link. but if anyone else read this, please give more info.

    lol, yea...the yankees did well in this, however their future was blown to hell by trading any interest anyone had left in their farm system away... but they always spend for the present, nvm the future lol. thats what does make the yankees compete every year, its only what i wish we could do every year.

    i just saw on that little bar on the bottom of the espn screen (the bottomline they call it) that the yankees have agreed to a principle on a 3-team trade that includes the dodgers, yankees and d-backs, the little scroll bar thing says its from NEWSDAY. props to whoever called this. yankees get RJ (s***) dodgers get vazquez, navarro, and eric duncan (3B) d-backs get shawn green, brad penny, yhency brazoban (P)
