    I fail to see how Ortiz's case is anywhere close to McGwire's or Sosa's. You are heavily generalizing their situations, which is the only way they can be comparable, if at all. There are eye-witness accounts against the latter two players, along with physical evidence. Thus, there is a base for speculation. What's the base for Ortiz?

    Seeing as this is very old news, and the timing of the thread is more than questionable, it's kind of easy to see that you are trying to take the attention off of the Yankees and placing some of it on the Red Sox. As already shown, this has nothing to do with regards to A-Rod's situation, nor any evidence to support what you are trying to suggest by creating the thread. EDIT: wait, who were you before you changed your name? I am so effing confused.

    I agree that it's the perfect opportunity for him, but it won't happen. He'll need another 5 shrinks after the 2009 season. ... I'm missing your point. That's why he passed his test. A couple weeks for anabolic steroids is more than enough time. Anabolic steroids don't stay in your system for a prolonged period of time. Agreed. To rub it in, the Yankees fans will probably rip him worse than the Red Sox fans if he doesn't produce because of this.

    I thought the call on KG to foul him out of the game was a little questionable. They didn't call Gasol's first swipe where he missed and smacked KG's hand, but they call his "shove" (which was a half dive anyway) which ends up sitting him down. A no-call on both ends is fine, but in a situation like that I don't see how you can call that. Whatever, what's done is done. This Lakers team is scary when it has Bynum. That's for damn sure.

    It was an unnecessary jab at his fandom more than anything of substance. I don't think Derek Lowe is that bad, but on the Yankees, I don't think he would fair that well given their incredibly subpar middle infield, and the fact that he's a sinkerball pitcher.
