    Big guns coming up. We need a run so Paps can come in and shut the door. Pineiro at $4M was probably a worse signing than Drew at $70M. I know the market was bloated for Drew and they did end up paying a lot more than they should have (despite my being one of his advocates), but Pineiro just hasn't done anything to help this team win games.

    Please, this is starting to get more annoying than Lugo and Crisp sucking. We're all aware. You've said this a million times. To read people bitching about it is even worse. A short little "bahhhhhh Lugo you suck" is cool but when you go off on these types of rants it's just annoying.

    That's what they'll most likely do. They should have pinch-hit Manny for Hinske straight up just now, but Tito's a f***ing idiot in these instances. The ninth looks like this most likely: Lowell (he'll hit for the pitcher since he has nowhere in the infield to go), Lugo, and Manny (put him in LF and move Wily Mo to CF).

    If I don't see Wily Mo pinch hitting for Crisp in the ninth, I'm legit going to have a fit.

    I think you have to really consider pinch hitting Manny for Hinske, especially in this situation in the eighth.

    Alright, at least we got two. With Manny and Wily Mo on the bench we could possibly get the lead with one swing of the bat. Wily Mo will probably hit for the pitcher to lead off next inning?

    Tell me about it. I'd love that. I always prefer it when players have consistently productive days instead of one explosive one. Not only is it more contributive to the team, but it's better for the batter to settle in.

    Alright...thankfully he got through 5. Papi-Youk-Drew-Tek back to back to back to back or a Tek grandslam or a Drew 3 run shot or I don't give a f*** just find a way to win the game with 5/9 batters being absolute slouches in the order. I mean really... Hinske Cora Tavarez Lugo Crisp Those 5 in order take 1 2/3 innings away from us.

    Wily Mo should be playing CF. f*** it, at this point I'd rather watch Jed Lowrie play SS. EDIT: I know how ridiculous that sounds. I'm just frustrated.

    How many of those are thanks to Tavarez? Probably ~75%?

    Warm up the bullpen. Tavarez is about to lose it. Tito should really start thinking about getting Pedroia and Manny into the game. The lineup has no life with Hinske and Cora hitting right before the pitcher. And with Lugo and Crisp hitting 1/2, the only way we're going to get runs is if 'Tek or Drew hits a 2- or 3-run dinger.
