    Its too early for the MVP chant. You'd have to start it for Manny, too ... but Co-MVP doesn't really roll off the tongue. Wait until one distinguishes themself as MVP from the other.

    I don't think anyone will grab him. He's expensive, but I think the Mets will hang around long enough to be buyers, or, just not sellers.

    Varitek is not better than Pudge. Look at the stats. Varitek has been nothing special this year.

    25-25 since May 1 is nothing to be too proud of. If we don't get on a roll fast, the division may be out of reach by the end of July.

    They did not do too well. Jefferson could be dominant, but is a year or 2 away from anything. West is a great shooter, and Allen is a tough player, but those 2 are nothing more than bench players in the future.

    This is also when George had more to work with than the Sox. George is nuts, and Cashman must be going nuts. Everyone in that organization must realize that they need pitching so much more than they need offense, except for George. If they want to bring that rotation into the playoffs ... let them.

    The Yankees can do nothing but hope that the Royals ask for too much. The Red Sox are offering KC a better deal than the Yankees, and it looks like everyone else for that matter. There's nothing to do but wait.
