Perfect AB by Masa. 2 outs, runner on second, he doesn't try to hit it to New Mexico-- just a sweet little flip into RF. Maybe some of the guys could take notes.

Eaton is up over .800 OPS the last 15 days. He hasn't been the problem, though, yes, I'd prefer a more well-established bat. But it seems like recently it's just been the pitching staff plus Trevor Story. That's been the entirety of the Red Sox team (obvious hyperbole, but you get the point).

Cora's maybe thinking of the first Tolle start, where he just left him in a couple of batters too long. Wanting to make sure that the kid doesn't give up a handful of runs and cough the game up after a really good 5 innings, for psychological reasons if nothing else. Not a great call, though.

In retrospect, no one. Or considering it was kind of the meat of the A's lineup, Whitlock.

The A's must have pulled inspiration from our worst kind of offensive performances this year: 13 Ks, 1 for 10 with RISP, and the 1 hit didnt score a run.
