    Offense or no offense. Beckett just didn't have it tonight. Nothing more you can say about that. Meanwhile I forgot to check my fantasy team this morning and I left Beckett on the bench. Oh well

    Well I believe the Yanks series is only a 2 game series so Dinardo and Alvarez wouldn't face the Yanks.

    Uh it's not like he's going to be their long term. Willie Harris is the least of our concerns right now.

    Nope doesn't count. It is after all an exhibition game.

    WBC does not count for a person's stats. I don't think playoffs HR's count towards a person's "career" stats. Like Bonds has 706 or whatever he has home runs but those don't include playoff HR's.

    Don't you know that if a guy struggles for a couple weeks in APRIL then he is done. I mean the guy's ERA is 2.16. He might as well just retire now.

    I have to admit I did give a slight chuckle after that one. Emphasis on slight however.

    The only thing I remember about that night is that it was like the only day I went to bed early that week because I was just so pissed off after that game. It took me like an hour to read it when I got home from work though and almost pissed my pants.

    I agree. I also am wary about his future participation in SFoC's contests. I'll leave that decision up to SFoC though.

    I'm a bit puzzled at why Snow keeps coming in for Youks at 1st late in the games. Youks has proven in my mind that he is not a liability at 1st. Snow's bat ended up hurting us Friday night when he came up a couple times instead of Youks. I'd just leave Youks in there late in games.

    Ugh. We don't need an allstar at every position. Gonzalez is fine at SS for a year.

    SFoC, I edited Soxfan's change in HR's just in case you missed it. If you are writing the picks down somewhere else be sure to fix that. Soxfan in the future make a post saying that you edited a pick in case none of us notices the edit.

    Varitek's running looked VERY slow to me. It really looks like that sore ass muscle is bothering him. I really hope that doesn't linger throughout the season.

    Actually I'm gonna have to agree with SoxFan. It says his last edit was 1:57 and that was before jsinger put in his last post. Unless he messed around with his clock or something.

    Well this is the game for Toronto right now. It's unlikely he was going to get a save. If the Sox get a big inning here, it's just about over. Toronto needs to have their best pitcher in there right now to keep this game in reach.
