  1. Enlighten me..........why was Nixon DH'ing and Millar playing RF?
  2. How the hell did that happen?
  3. I'm hoping your Mother doesn't raise her rates.
  4. Welcome.......is Rhode Island still a part of the United States? jk
  5. Tim Hudson on the 15 day DL with stomach problems. Probably just cramps from his period. Rich Harden left Saturday's game with a partial dislocation to his non-throwing shoulder after attempting to cover first base in the third inning. Not happy when anyone gets hurt but it's nice to know that it just isn't Red Sox players missing games due to injury.
  6. I like you more and more everyday.
  7. As I'm sure all Red Sox fans feel, I just want what's best for the team. I like Varitek's grittiness for lack of a better word. One thing bothers me though (actually more than one); why is it when a Sox pitcher has a good game, he usually credits Varitek with calling a GREAT game but when a pitcher has a lousy game, people generally say, "Wallace needs to work with this guy"? Varitek usually gets a lot of credit but rarely takes any blame for any of the negative things that happen. Just an observation.... I've been a fan of the Sox for many, many, many years. I will be a fan until I go for the big dirt nap. One thing I have learned over the years is, don't become too obsessed with "the player" because he will never care about the team as much as you do. I've seen where certain fans become so angry that a particular player was traded or let go as a FA that they dessert that team and follow the player. I was a big Bruce Hurst fan but when he left I didn't become a Padres follower. As it turned out, Hurst said leaving Boston was the worst move he ever made. Same with Mo Vaughn. This whole Red Sox Nation thing is unbelieveable and I'm happy to be a part of it. The Sox may never win it all in my lifetime, or yours for that matter. Although I would feel terrible about that, at least when I drop dead I'll know I remained loyal since day one. Sorry for the ramble........
  8. I truly hope that I'm wrong but this team doesn't appear to be any different from all the other Red Sox teams that have disappointed the fans in the past. They've just lost the last three series and it doesn't seem to bother them one bit. Must be nice to be millionaires.....
  9. Keep in mind that Mueller was playing on that injured knee for quite awhile and this could have been part of the reason this season was not up to last year's standards. IMO, Mueller will be in a Red Sox uniform for the remainder of '04.
  10. Chauncey Billups, MVP.....why can't Boston get players like that? Oh wait a minute.....Pitino SUCKS!!!!!
  11. He should change his name to Billy RottonKroch cuz this guy stinks.
  12. Hope the fire is extremely hot in the hell that John Henry Williams resides in now.
  13. Clemens deserved a loss way before this game. I wish he would return to Boston for one more game so I could get a seat in the roof boxes and piss on his hat. I don't hate him as much as I did when he wore a Yankmees uniform but he's still a big tub of s***. Hey Roger, why not join this site, you syphilitic piece of crap.
  14. Even after these two s***** losses to the Rockies, they are still the Wild Card team. What's wrong with this team in part is the fact that they don't hit when the bases are loaded. The silver lining would be, they can get men on base; the dark cloud, they can't drive them in. Timely f***ing hitting is the answer. I don't believe anyone is thinking about contracts; that's ********. Thanks........I've vented and yes, the Yankees still suck.
  15. FIX...........2004, 2004, 2004, 2004, 2004.............0h yeah, Congratulations.
  16. Too late!!
  17. The only point the Yankee fans have is at the top of their heads.
  18. He got his ERA down from 13.50 to 5.40
  19. Actually, Lowe's starts on May 14 and June 6 were decent starts and of course this past start on June 11 was good.
  20. We can start worrying about Wakefield now. He has given up 29 hits in his last three starts and 17 earned runs. (17-2/3 innings pitched)
  21. When I read the posts from other sites in the Yankee forums, I find it extremely hard to believe how f***ing stupid Yankee fans are. Jesus Christ, you'd think these syphilitic motherf***ers were sitting in the dugout next to the players whispering in their ear.
  22. Ummm.......did you read my post?? And there were three games at Braves Field, not two.
  23. I think Mussina was hurt when Derek Jeter got too agressive with him and yanked his..........ahhh, you know the story.
