    Pardon soxfan's ignorance. He thinks everyone watches all Celtics preseason games, when actually only I do. The Celtics, if they pull out in OT, have a real gritty win on their hands. They played subpar but fought all game. Rondo his a great three ball to force OT. Oh well, looks like they won't pull it out, I didn't think they would. 37 turnovers, that's ridiculous. What matters is they fought hard and almost pulled it out.

    Yeah seriously.. My question is how in the f*** do you hit a building. Aside from technical difficultys, which was probably the case, how the hell do you hit a building (unless you're trying of course).

    Wow it's finally time to bump this thread.. Celtics had their first preseason game tonight and they looked mad nice. Rondo had a hell of a game, 11 points 5 rebounds 8 assists 4 steals I think was his line. Olowokandi had a surprise of a great game. The "new" Big Al looks a lot better, faster and more agile. Overall I enjoyed watching the new guys play together, and I was kind of basketball deprived until this game. Here's to a great season.

    Not sure why they'd wanna fire him, seeing as how they've won a bazillion division titles and World Series' with him. 881 wins and 64 playoff wins is pretty damn good since he became coach in '96. He's won them 4 World Series' since '96 with only 3 losses in those 4 series'. IMO it is a mistake to fire Torre. They won the division, they made the playoffs, Steinbrenner needs to understand that they won't win every year, and until him and Cashman decide to bring in some actually good pitching they probably won't win under any manager, and probably will do worse than they would with Torre. He's getting the raw end of the stick.

    i cared until i saw the s***** league known as the 'new' NHL was put on ice. the hockey was absolutely what i don't like about the game. i did think the team would be good, and yes they did suck, but the product the new rules put on the ice, it sucked

    Loretta was a classy guy. Pretty decent in the field and a decent bat. For the right price I'd love to see him back with maybe Pedroia playing short.

    Wooo im going. This is the 5th time in the last 2 years I've seen the Orioles. 3rd time ive seen Wake vs them in that span. 2nd time I've seen Loewen this year. i saw alvarez's first career start too. faaaack the orioles i need to see other teams.

    First off Alexander isnt even having a great game. 47 yards and a TD.. without the TD (which arguably shouldnt have been one because I believe that was off a Giants turnover) he would be s*** this game, so he doesnt look as stupid as your making him out to be. Second off, did you just call your posts quality? HAHA. I'm assuming it was a joke, because if it was, it was a pretty funny one.
