    Lol Melo and AI aren't top 2. Ever heard of Kobe Bryant? The best scorer the NBA has seen since MJ. Gilbert Arenas? Dwyane Wade? LeBron James? Those four alone you could make a case for them to be better. Now you're going to come in and argue not because they are top 2 in PPG. Melo and Iverson are both jacking 24 shots a game a piece while the others I mentioned have comprable scoring numbers with just as good percentages and about 3-5 less shots per game taken. Carmelo's and AI's 3 point percentages are around 26ish%, the top scorers in the league must be good all around scorers, meaning at least decent 3 point shooters at worst. Kobe James Anthony Wade Arenas Iverson That's being generous too.

    I apologize to bosox and coco, I refuse to fight with you about the amount of friends I have for a few reasons: 1) Not gonna jack the thread 2) I have plenty 3) Its a childish accusation, and a baseless one at that Sorry. SeeRed- Do you think Melo and AI will be able to coexist? I think Melo is still in that Alpha Male stage where he needs to be shooting 25 times a night to be happy. I think somehow it will work though. They compliment each other well though, a slasher (AI) and a scorer (Melo), with two good rebounders and a dependable 3rd scorer (Smith), they have a very good team.

    well first off i'd like to say that denver, as noted by see red, absolutely trashed the sixers in this deal, they gave up an aging top 10-12 pg, joe smith who hasn't lived up to anything, and 2 first rounds they probably wont end up needing and haha i never said i didnt wan't danny do do a trade for AI. i just said he wouldn't come here, so shove it. i would have loved AI i just knew we wouldnt get him. sorry bosox but you're an idiot.

    Of course Al isn't as good as Gasol.. I'm not retarded. Look at Al, he's been playing amazing the last 2 weeks. He's younger and more athletic than Gasol, who IMO is overrated anyways. Al has the same post moves plus more, he's just not as polished because Gasol is more experienced. Al's potential future value combined with right now is bigger than Gasol. And Bosox, lol we arent making noise.

    Nuggets pulled a Nuggets last night. I was there. They get down in the beginning big and never fully recovered. Melo played amazing, even though Allen played even better D on him. Fun game though, the result probably would have been different had JR Smith shown up at all.

    its true. ny post wrote about it and had quotes from danny saying he was willing to part with anyone in order to get pau. take it for what its worth but im about 900% sure that pierce will not be a part of any deals. im willing to bet on Al/Wally/Delonte/First rounder for pau, but hey, who am i?
