  1. alright, my input... i think that if we got him, we would be set. albeit a long shot, but this would be one of the bets things to happen to the Sox in a long while
  2. nah, i won, im the man!
  3. pats own... also read my other post...
  4. nah, i say it will be the colts. theyre not all that theyre going to be. they do have an awesome offense, and that will help. but they have no defense, none at all, and that will hurt them badly
  5. i think it will be the jaguars. they build this team perfectly and should have a good year. maybe not the playoffs but a huge step in the right direction. they have an awesome O-Line to keep Leftwich on his feet, and scramble less as he keeps learning the NFL defenses. They have one of the best young defensive lines as well. They have a stud in Fred Taylor at RB, Jimmy Smith is a vet reciever capable of a 1000 yd season. This team will be in the playoffs very very soon
  6. sheff... haha! ortiz or manny come before him, then theres vlad, and pudge. the yankees have the hitting. if you took sheff away, they would be in first still. if you took manny or ortiz away we wouldnt be first in the wild card. if you took vlad away the angels wouldnt be in the wild card race. if you took pudge away from the tigers, theyd be just as bad as last season.
  7. but would you have said that a month ago? No, exactly your point. he has caught fire and is playing as well as anyone. a hot bat should be in the lineup, even if he hasnt had a great past.
  8. Santana hasnt been consistent all year. He was about 6-6 up until the all star break where he has gone 6-0 since. Very similar to Pedro, as he started mediocre then caught fire. Of any of them, Mulder has been the most consistent followed by Schilling, Petey, Santana, and Hudson.
  9. look, this may sound biased, but i voted petey. petey has been on fire lately, and his ERA will be down around 3.30 at the end of the season. no one in the AL is having an amazing season, so it is wide open. in the end petey will win
  10. sveum sucks, theres my input for this one
  11. yeah, foulke has been horrible for a while now. hes really gotta snap out of it. haha, i posted too
  12. cabrera has been very good lately going 9 for his last 17 over the last 4 games. its great to see that hes finally coming around
  13. wells is friggin killing us
  14. nice find, that was really helpful
  15. not true. he usually has a bad one or 2 bad ones, then 1 or 2 good ones, its a trand i guess. i believe he will pitch well enough to beat the Jays crappy offense. theyve only got wells and delgado (who is hitting horrbily this season). wakefield should win. as for petey, hell get shutout number 2 in a row
  16. only problem I have with this is renteria. hes an excellent hitter, and i think much improved over nomar in hitting for average, defense, and has a good arm. but id like to see him bat second instead of bellhorn in the event that we actally get him.
  17. i honestly think this team is starting to come around
  18. cabrera has been looking a lot better than he was before
  19. real defensive improvement
  20. we have the pitchers pitching in this series that make it reasonable
