  1. and hes just figuring this out...
  2. i would join, but im already in too many leagues. sorry
  3. I voted Pitching. I think that since our pitching has kicked in, we have been awesome. We all knew that we had big bats and would be able to score runs for our pitching. Above all though, through all the amazing starts, our bullpen has been the best it has all season despite not having our best reliever in Williamson. I think that Foulke is broken out of the midseason slump he had, and is now back to being the automatic 3 out guy he has been in the past. Timlin has picked up some of Embrees slack and Myers was an excellent addition. I think thta in the end, our pitching is what carried us to that excellent month.
  4. I read all the way up to... "Derek Jeter sucks!" HAHAHA! But seriously, those goof balls in Yankeeland are really uptight. I think theyre too afraid to have a Red Sox fan come in and completely wreck one of them in an arguement. Yeszir is running a much better site here. Props to ya Yeszir for the great site
  5. as i said in another thread, schedule doesnt mean jack s*** right now. the redsox are absolutley on fire, and are showing no signs of slowing down. the yankees are just playing bad baseball lately. there is no excuse to losing a 10.5 game lead.
  6. WOOOOOOO Yankees lose 6-4! 4 1/2 game lead!
  7. eh... I think hes doing just OK. I have seen much better, but hes gotta use his brain sometimes
  8. I was at the game when he pitched. I thought he pitched fairly well. Hes gotta work on his velocity as he threw only mid to upper 80's on his fast ball. His curve is a big looping Barry Zito type of thing, it is only in the upper 60's lower 70's. Hes also got a changeup he threw a few times, it wasnt really that good. The thing was that he got beat by the good players on the Orioles (Tejada and Mora) and not some of the worse players. For him to become a good ML pitcher, I think that he will need at least one more pitch, possibly something more of a strikeout pitch. A splitter? Slider? Forkball? Who knows. I think that he pitched well for, a person of his ability, a person that made his first ML start, and a person that was only in AA.
  9. haha, f***tard, i will use that one. THanks Yeszir
  10. welcome to the site
  11. Tonight was a great game. I think that if Pedro pitches like this the rest of the season, he can make a case for the Cy Young
  12. boooooooooooooo
  13. the next one i think is all-star, cuz i have it
  14. the rangers also beat the Os...
  15. that isnt even a smiley...
  16. 5-1 sox... does cabrera still have his hit streak going???
  17. what?!?!?!?! did we lose or something?
  18. Bronson is going to be the next big thing. He does need more velocity on his fastball though, and maybe needs one more pitch, maybe a splitter?
  19. yes, it does, but like some people have said (too lazy to go look up who it was, lol) closers have it so easy. they just need to closer a game with a 3 run lead. Nathan has been awesome for the Twins, but he definitely doesnt deserve Cy Young My Cy Young Standings as of Right Now 1. Johan Santana- He has proved me wrong, and is proving that he is a stud 2. Schill- Consistent all season, very, very good chance to get 20 wins 3. Mark Mulder- In his case wins means something. Oakland has little offense, and has had to pitch his way to wins, rather than the offense pounding out runs for him. 4. Petey- On fire, getting beter and better every outing
  20. HAHA! if el duque is your ace, ours is Lowe. Its ridiculous to say that your ace is a guy who has pitched no more than 20 games. El Duque has pitched very well, but he definitely is not teh ace. Brown? Moose? Vazquez? there are plenty of better options for an ace than El Duque. I classify an ace as a guy you want to have out there in game 7 of the world series. Pedro, Schill, Brown, Moose all fit into that category. El Duque? Hell no, there are a ton of pitchers i would take over him in game 7 of a world series yeah.. anyways, i voted bronson. he has blown away basically any other candidate for this. he has pitched way above anyones expectations, and will be an excellent starter come next season.
  21. nah dude, hes just stating the facts
