  1. In a nutshell - it was poorly run.
  2. I wouldnt have time to participate in it, but its Yeszirs call.
  3. I heard him live on WBCN today, it was OK, better than I expected.
  4. Haha, Reddings beard is hilarious.
  5. Haha, yeah, the last thing we need is another bad/old pitcher. I would much prefer testing out some of the youth that we have than waste more money like that.
  6. Haha, we know, you didnt even have to tell us. But yeah, if there is an extra roster spot, I wouldnt mind having Pedroia fill it. Oh yeah, and Cora is not much better, if he is even better, than Ramon Vazquez, so if you thought Vazquez was worse than Bellhorn, what changed your mind? Just the new name? Im telling you, for right now, unless we can get a Soriano or Roberts type player, which is all but impossible unless we were to give up asswads of prospects, and other stuff, Bellhorn will be, and should be starting.
  7. Haha, yeah, I thought that last night when the certain 2nd baseman your speaking of came up to bat. I would love to see Pedroia have a shot, but I dont think he is ready yet, and Bellhorn would still be a better option, but getting him experience would be better than nothing.
  8. Yeah, elsrbueno is pretty right. People are expecting every pitcher on our staff to pitch like Pedro in his prime and it just cant happen. I will take whatever Arroyo can give, because he is very valuable to this team. We also have to remember that I believe this is still his first full year starting (? dont remember if he started the whole year last year), but he will come around and pitch like the #4 or 5 starter he is capable of being.
  9. I feel so bad for soxie right now, but she is right. Bellhorn is better for right now at second base. What would you rather have, 0-3 with 3 Ks and a walk or 0-4. Cora may look better, but he isnt. Bellhorn brings more than Cora. Since he strikes out alot, he doesnt ground into double plays as often as indicated in a previous post which is pretty good. I used to be a pretty big anti-Bellhorn, but I have realized his value. The only guy I would want to replace him would be Youkilis, who would be in at third and Mueller over to second. But still, Bellhorn is as key a part of this lineup as anyone for the simple fact that he can work the counts and walk sometimes. And when he does make contact, and puts the ball in play, he is hitting around .360. If all he could do was make contact a few more times, he wouldnt be bad. Yeah, he isnt good, maybe he is even bad, but at this point, Cora is even worse. The last thing we need is to tinker with something thats not broken. Tito still needs to keep showing his confidence in Bellhorn, and maybe he will come around.
  10. Its not that hard to make Sheffield looks stupid. Any time he swings at a breaking ball hes way out in front of it and looks like a fool, unless of course hes sitting on it and can hold back for that split second, then he will crush it. The way to get him out is to just keep him off balance, its that simple.
  11. Thats exactly how I feel. There is no reason to keep using this f***ing terrible big eared pitcher if all he is going to do is hurt you. Its pretty confusing for me as to why he keeps doing it, but I dont know.
  12. His ERA is like 9 something too...
  13. Haha, yeah. It has been perfect all week, with the exception of yesterday. It was so humid. I started sweating after like 2 minutes of light jogging.
  14. Haha, 250 grand is pretty ridiculous. Its also sad that he got away with this.
  15. Yeah, so far a lot of these players have been impressive, especially Gomes. I see him, along with Green, Jefferson, Reed, Allen, Perkins, and possibly Bynum as well making this team, meaning that it would probably be the youngest in the NBA. Both Perkins and Jefferson started out really slow and didnt really play up to expectations but they both showed last night what theyre capable of. In the end maybe towards the end of this year/ beginning of next year, that these two guys will be the starting PF and C of this team. But I really like what I am seeing so far from a lot of these guys. But since a lot are playing so well, Ainge has a few decisions to make. Will he deal Pierce? Its obvious that they have a rocky relationship and I doubt it will hold up and I think he will get dealt. But if we deal Pierce, we dont really have a bonafide scorer. Davis I dont think can do it because he is way too inconsistent. He will be 10-10 one night on FGs then 1-10 the next. Which of the two expensive big men will get waived? Raef is obviously a better player than Blount, because Blount just downright sucks, and doesnt deserve the six million hes going to make, but I think Raef will get waived because of the fact that he is making 10 million dollars. Yeah, I have no idea what he is going to do to get this all to work, and to get all these guys on their roster, but whatever it is, I hope he doesnt screw everything up.

  17. Yeah, after sleeping on it, it was still one of the more pathetic games of the year. I mean, to blow a 4 run lead, thats just not good. I dont really like the direction we are headed right now.
  18. Haha, that was a pathetic game.
  19. Now, what the f*** have I been saying about Schilling in the bullpen. All I can say is - I f***ING TOLD YOU SO.
  20. Haha, I am just being difficult right now. Mostly because this is the most frustrating game ever.
  21. Yeah, I second that. You add nothign to anything right now. Leave.
  22. I hate Kevin Millar so much.
  23. Ruben. I hate him so much.
