  1. I called a Blake win. Hes been my fav player since a long time. The way he has been playing lately amazes me... hes been hitting not only his forehand, but his backhand with authority. I am very happy with this. And to be honest, I wouldnt be surprised if he makes the finals. He played Federer tough in the finals in Cincinatti, lost 6 and 5. So if he goes far I wont be surprised.
  2. My team last year was better. I forget what it was though. I think I led the league in points by like... 300-400.
  3. He has gotten a little better towards now, but he is stil terrible and shouldnt start everyday.
  4. Thank you Sizzlin, couldnt have said it better.
  5. Yeah, the "Tom Brady of Baseball" analogy pissed me off the most. First off, Tom Brady would probably be better at baseball, and second of all, the comparison isnt even close. Brady is probably one of the best QBs in Pats history, but can you say Millar is the best 1B in the Red Sox history? How many championships has Kevin Millar won, let alone the Championship MVP award. I will always hate the guy, even if for some odd reason we resign him, and he hits for .300/30/100.
  6. What up, son. Welcome.
  7. Also dont forget to mention hes started 8497239592347923939 games in a row...
  8. They have nothing to do with each other, but, wehn you have played quite possibly the worst season of your life, and you are like that, it just pisses me off. I wouldnt mind him as much if he was queit, like Bellhorn. But this guy dyes his f***ing hair and mustache blonde. What the hell is that? Why the hell doesnt he take that extra time to work on his swing, or take a few groundballs if he has been playing so bad.
  9. He talks too much. Too flamboyant. Everything about him. Especially his blonde f***ing mustache...
  10. You know, I want Millar to be good, and do well, and succeed, but I will always hate him, forever, no matter what.
  11. Yeah thats true as well. Not really anyone on that team gets the recognition they deserve. Theyre a quiet team, never in the news, thats probably why.
  12. Also another reason someone so kindly pointed out that he doesnt get as much recognition could very well be race. Im not saying this is how I feel, but it could very well be that black basketball players are thought of generally as better than white ones.
  13. Yeah, I didnt really believe that Millar had hit two homers. I was at the Spinners (Sox Single A) game, who won 4-2, and when I heard Millar homered, I was in disbelief. When I heard he hit his 2nd one, I was in even more disbelief. But yeah, the Spinners might make the playoffs for the first time ever which I found hard to believe. I was a little pissed though, because Ellsbury didnt play.
  14. This makes little sense to me. All it is going to do is take away minutes and touches from Ginobili, who might be the most underrated player in the game because 1) he plays great D, 2) he can drive, 3) he can shoot the midrange jumper, and 4) he can shoot the 3. He does everything very well, but just doesnt get hte recognition he deserves because he doesnt have a massive ass contract and a ton of endorsements.
  15. Like buy Sox tickets then give them away...
  16. Do you? Well I like fried chicken, so SHOVE IT.
  17. Bull Riding is awful...
  18. A former public enemy number 1 on these boards. Everyone hated him back in the day. Then Yeszir banned him because he clogged every thread with Yankee talk.
  19. Well, yeah, they deserve every last bit of it, but still you dont like to see players keep on getting hurt. (Unless they are Yankees)
  20. Hhahahahahhahaha... I feel kinda bad for the Yankees... they cant catch a single break.
  21. Welcome Back Bud! edit- What the f***? Why wont it let me post in all caps? Now the comment doesnt look as sarcastic as it was meant to be...
  22. Yes... YES! Ive been rooting for Blake since... always... he is probably my fav tennis player.
  23. Ugh... you don get it. THE TITLE OF THE THREAD. T-I-T-L-E. Not your post, the TITLE. Wow... read the post son.
  24. ...then you shouldnt have titled the f***ing thread 'Best Hockey Game', idiot. You shoulda made it 'Favorite' instead if thats what you were looking for...
  25. No. The best game of ALL-TIME was Bruins vs. Flyers a few years back, 2002 or 2003 I think. Stocker and I were there to witness this game first hand. The Bruins won 1-0 in OT in by far the most exciting and intense game ever. It was Jeff Hacketts first game as a Bruin, still using his Canadiens pads. In the first period, Thornton and Desjardins got in a fight, Joe busted his face open badly. Third period was awesome. They played the Rocky theme song and some random guy stood up and started boxing against the air, and some guy behind us yelled, SIT DOWN ROCKY. It was hilarious. Then in OT I think it was, Kim Jonsson hit a hard slapper from the point and Hackett made a sick left pad save and kicked it out to a defenseman (Gill?). Then he dished it up ice to Rolston who was with someone else (Axelsson?) on a 2 on 1. Rolston f***ing blasted it, probably the hardest shot Ive ever seen, and it went in, and the Bruins won. Amazing game. The third period was probably the best period of hockey I have ever witnessed in my life.
